Night Two - Sunday 29, 2022
(The PWS: APEX logo flashes across the screen, before the cameras cut to life at the same desk setup as Night 1, on the beach under the tent set up. Seated from left to right are Star Stormz, Josiah Cena, Tayna Reihl, and the 2 seats to the right of Tayna are empty.)
Tayna Reihl: Hello and welcome to the start of Night 2 of DESTINY!!! We saw a hell of a show last night… We started off strong seeing Antithesis regain their Tag Team Titles.
Star Stormz: And then, in typical Antithesis fashion, things went too far and we saw the Commonwealth come to make the save. I gotta say… Antithesis have been a bit of a thorn in my side lately.
Josiah Cena: We also saw, which we expected it to be, one of the most violent matches in PWS: APEX, as Mike Hawk was victorious over Jonathan Sanders in the three stages of hell match. But, before we keep talking about last night…I got a bone to pick with Star.
(Star looks at Cena perplexed.)
Star Stormz: Whatever it is… can I find a way to blame Marcus Cage or someone?
Josiah Cena: We all saw your little conversation with one, Max Delgado. You…uh…just not gonna say what you figured out?
Star Stormz: I’ve been asked to not say anything, as it’s not my place to divulge that information. But, don’t worry, all should be revealed soon.
(Josiah gives her the side-eye, before slowly nodding his head.)
Josiah Cena: Fiiine…but I’m watching you.
Tayna Reihl: Annnnnnyway….we also saw Alexis Makarios successfully defend her United Championship against Cleo Philips.
Star Stormz: With a little “help” from friend Heather Haze. We all saw her try to take out Cleo, then take out Kallie. I saw Alexis backstage after her match and… well… she was NOT happy at all.
Josiah Cena: Can’t say I blame her. Alexis has spent the past few months really working on her image, getting back to the…old Lexi..so to speak. She wants to earn everything the right way, and the way Heather was trying…and in one case was successful at, taking out her opponents…really doesn’t fit with the way Alexis wants to do things. I had the opportunity to chat with her before we all went back to the hotels last night, and she said she’s fed up with Heather’s antics, and she’s going to address them once she finds the words to calmly do so without wanting to instantly rip her head off.
Star Stormz: That would be quite a sight!
Tayna Reihl: Indeed it would be, and you know what else was a sight? That main event last night. Ugh, that match…such emotion, Eddie and Gracie.
Star Stormz: No less than what I expected out of those two. Gracie truly has the skill and talent of her father… with a mix of everyone who trained her mixed in. It was a hell of a way to end night one!
Josiah Cena: That really was a special match to watch. I knew they were gonna tear it down, but damn…they really both left it all out there. Hats off to both of them, and congratulations to Gracie on getting the big win. It’ll be really interesting to see where she goes from here.
Tayna Reihl: Indeed, but I’ll tell you where we’re going next, and that’s tonight, night two, as we get ready to do it all over again! We’re here for the pre-show for Destiny night two, and tonight, our guest panelist is the newest inductee to the PWS Hall of Fame…ladies and gents, give it up for Candy!
(All 3 of them clap as Candy comes bouncing in from the side. Her face is covered with the biggest grin ever as she sits down in the seat on the far end. Out of nowhere, Fluffy pops her head up from the seat next to Tayna, startling her.)
Tayna Reihl: Holy crap, where did she come from?
Candy: Fluffy wanted to join us tonight! I’m sooooooo excited to be here with you guys to talk about Destiny! It’s been an amaaaaaaaazing weekend! I’m so honored to sit here with you, Tonya, and with Star and Josie! HI GUYS!!!!
(Josiah chuckles.)
Josiah Cena: Of course, she gets Star right. Hey Candy.
(Fluffy barks, hopping up on the table and walking over to Josiah, and…quite adorably, licking his cheek.)
Josiah Cena: Yes, yes, hello to you too, Fluffy.
(Fluffy’s ears perk up as she looks around.)
Star Stormz: Welcome to you both, I’m so glad you are able to join us for the weekend. How’s that little one of yours doing?
Candy: Miss Ruby is absolutely perfect. She’s talking more now. And running. Oh man I can’t keep up some times!
Star Stormz: I remember those days.
Tayna Reihl: Since everyone has gotten their greetings said… let’s jump right into the first match of the night. And it’s a personal one. I’m talking about the match between Jack Russow and Miles “Milo” Kasey.
(Candy raises her hand like a kid in school, tilting her head to the side. When everyone looks at her, she speaks.)
Candy: I have a question. Is his name Miles or Milo?
Josiah Cena: They both work, so whatever you wanna call him, Candy.
Candy: I like Milo… like the dog from the movie! You know, Milo and Otis! HE WAS SOOOOO CUTE!!!
(Fluffy lets out a slight growl.)
Candy: But not as cute as you, Fluffy!
Star Stormz: On that note… I know both of these guys are at an emotional low point after dealing with their friend's death. I would be a horrible leader if I said I wasn’t worried about them…
Candy: OH NOOOOOO That’s sooooooo sad!!!
Josiah Cena: Yeah, it’s rough, but I think both kids will persevere. They’ve both had to overcome adversity in their lives, and they’ll both be looking to put on a great show in memory of their fallen friend. I think this one is going to be emotional, hard-hitting, and definitely one to watch tonight.
Tayna Reihl: Sooo… predictions?
Candy: MILO AND OTIS!!!
Star Stormz: This is a tough one to call… on one hand you have a Russow, on the other hand you have one trained by the Russows. But, if I absolutely had to pick, my money would be on Jack.
Josiah Cena: I’ve been thinking about this one, and have gone back and forth a million times in my head. In the end, I think I have to give the slight advantage to Miles..Jack is known to wear his emotions on his sleeve, and there’s no way of telling how either one of these guys are going to react once they’re out here. But, I have to think the nature of their friend’s accident is going to be weighing heavily in their minds, and with the high-flying offense being the majority of Jack’s offense, you have to wonder how he’ll feel about just doing those moves after such a tragedy. Your mind can absolutely be your worst enemy, and I think tonight, the winner will be whoever can hold it together the most until the bell sounds. But, if I had to pick, I guess I’m going with Miles.
Tayna Reihl: Interesting. Yeah, that will be something to keep an eye on. But, I wanted to move on to our next match, and that is Violet Amelia Holt defending her Collateral Damage Championship against Devon Ryder in a Hardcore Match.
Josiah Cena: I hate to sound…biased? But Holt doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell in this match. This is about as open and shut case as you get in this business. I don’t think Ryder will have any problem winning the Collateral Damage championship here tonight.
Candy: I don’t like Violet… she was a big ole meanie to me over in SCW
(Fluffy snarls a little bit.)
Candy: It’s ok, Fluffy. She’s not here.
(Candy looks back at the others)
Candy: See, she locked me in a closet and was just really really mean! And I beat her, but she has also beat me… I don’t know about Ryder except he has really fabulous hair… and you know he has been in like… A BUNCH of movies???
Star Stormz: Wrong Ryder, Candy…
Candy: Huh???
Star Stormz: Looking at this match, I know that Violet went through hell to get this title. But Devon Ryder, as cocky and obnoxious as he is, has worked hard to earn this opportunity. It’s gonna be a bloody one, that’s for sure.
Tayna Reihl: Predictions? Who walks out with the Collateral Damage Championship?
Josiah Cena: Devon Ryder, no question.
Candy: Not that meanie head Violet! She smells funny.
(Fluffy barks, as if to agree with Candy, and Star stifles a slight chuckle.)
Star Stormz: I dunno… I think Violet has some tricks up her sleeve.
Josiah Cena: Aw, come on, Star. You don’t agree with Fluffy?
Star Stormz: Oh no I agree with her that Violet is not exactly a “good” person… but she’s scrappy and could pull off that underdog victory tonight.
Tayna Reihl: Well, it’s time for us to kick things to ringside with JR and Alf, as we’re ready for our match on the pre-show, which is going to be a tag team match, as the Landersons take on the Carpent-er…uh…Carpenter-Lopez-Makarios sisters?
Josiah Cena: Something like that.
Star Stormz: I think it’s beautiful. But yes, I am interested to see how this goes down. The Landersons came to me a few weeks back after their match with Sass N Bash wanting another shot. I told em if they could impress us in a Destiny Preshow match… I’d see what I could do for them. So… the ball is in their court.
Candy: I like his mask! It’s got lots of pretty colors on it. But I like Jenn and Madison, they are so nice. I hope they win!!!
PRESHOW MATCH
Tag Team Match
Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez and Madison Carpenter vs. The Landersons
(Alliyah and Jennifer start off the match for their teams, going back and forth with one another. Landerson getting a bit of an upperhand for a moment and tagging in her father. El steps in and for some reason turns around to say something to Alliyah and Jenn surprises him with a schoolboy roll-up)
1..
2..
KICKOUT!
Alfonso Banks: Ooo you gotta be careful there El! Be a partner and not a dad!
JR Freeman: I don’t think the Landerson’s understand what they are facing here.
Alfonso Banks: Do they ever?
(Jennifer backs up, laughing and tags in Madison. El gets mad that that just happened and charges at Madison, Madison moves, sending El into the ropes chest first, Madison locks him up from behind and goes for a suplex but El flips out and drop kicks Madison into the ropes. El signals for the 619. He manages to hit it and quickly goes for the pin.)
1.
2.
KICKOUT!
JR Freeman: Would that have been considered an upset?
Alfonso Banks: In a big way.
(El Landerson looks at the referee with a look of shock on his face as his daughter yells at the ref as well that that should have been three, meanwhile, Madison manages to crawl over and quickly tag Jenn in.)
JR Freeman: The Landersons better stop fighting about the ref’s call.
Alfonso Banks: You don’t turn your back on these two! Rookie mistake!
(El turns around to be caught by surprise by Jenn flying across the ring and hitting a hurricanrana, as he crashes to the mat. Jenn follows up by turning around and knocking Alliyah off the ring. El crawling on all fours Jenn hooks El up and pins him up in the la a minstrel cradle pin!)
1.
2.
KICKOUT!
(But using the momentum of the kick out Jenn locks in the Money Maker armbar as Madison climbs the ropes. Alliyah recovers enough to try to trip up Madison but Madison kicks her right in the face and she falls to the ground, hard.)
JR Freeman: Ooo that was a rough landing for Alliyah! And now the Carpenters can finish this!
Alfonso Banks: All El has to do is tap.
(And just as Alf finishes that, Madison jumps and hits her Phoenix Down Frog Splash and Jenn turns it into a pin.)
1...2...3!!!
DING DING DING
WINNER - JENNIFER CARPENTER-LOPEZ AND MADISON CARPENTER
(We cut back to the panelist table under the tent, as Candy just blurts out before anyone can speak.)
Candy: YAY Jenn and Madison won!
Josiah Cena: A rather convincing victory, as well…I mean…I wish I could say I was surprised, but I just had a feeling. Good on the sisters, though. A nice win to get on the Destiny pre-show.
Star Stormz: A great effort from the Landersons. However they were not able to overcome the chemistry these two have. Jenn and Madison are a great tag team, and they just proved why. A great way to start off Night 2 action, if I do say so myself.
Tayna Reihl: Agreed, and that will bring us into the last half of our pre-show, which we will start by talking about this next one…
(She sighs.)
Tayna Reihl: It’s Heather Haze versus Daniel Russow…
Star Stormz: I know as CEO and Co-Owner I really should try to remain impartial… but Heather Haze has REALLY been troublesome lately. Interfering in matches… attacking people backstage… throwing hissy fits… she’s been a REAL PR nightmare. Especially after her…
(Star shudders)
Star Stormz: Extracurricular activities before Demon’s Run…
Candy: Like sports?
Josiah Cena: Yeah, we’ll go with that. Not to mention Daniel has a lot of added motivation for this one. Remember, it was Haze who he was in the ring with when he went down with the concussion. It was Haze who laughed it off. It’s been Haze that has been making Dan’s wife’s…as well as his own life, a living hell for over a year. Dan has a LOT of built up frustration in this one, and he gets to let it all out tonight. For Haze, though, she gets the chance to back up her claims that she does actually belong at the top of the card. She does bring…a certain type of reaction from the fans, but…if it works, it works. Do I agree or approve of her tactics? Hell no. But if it works out for her, I can’t argue that.
Candy: I’ve known Dan for like… forever. And one thing even I know is that you don’t mess with his family. And Heather has been like, really really mean to Audrey. Which is really dumb cuz Audrey is like super nice and her daughter is sooooooo cute and is gonna be besties with Ruby!
Josiah Cena: Oh God…that’ll be the day…
Tayna Reihl: Well, got any predictions?
Josiah Cena: I got this one….Hey Fluffy.
(Fluffy looks at Josiah, tilting her head a bit.)
Josiah Cena: Bark once for Haze, more than once for Dan.)
Fluffy: Bark….bark bark…bark bark bark….bark bark.
Josiah Cena: There you have it.
Fluffy: Bark bark…bark.
Josiah Cena: Okay, Fluffy. We get it.
Fluffy: Bark bark bark.
(Candy eventually has to reach over to calm Fluffy down to get her to stop barking.)
Candy: Sorry, she…really doesn’t like Heather. And she’s a wicked good judge of character!
(Fluffy lets out a growl when Candy mentions Heather, which gets a chuckle out of Star and Josiah.)
Tayna Reihl: Any other predictions? Star? Who do you think will walk out with the win?
Star Stormz: Honestly? I think Heather is gonna pull some underhanded tactic and sneak the win. Clean win? Dan. But yeah, I think Haze is gonna … well … pull a her.
Josiah Cena: I’d like to sit here and say Dan’s gonna wipe the floor with her. I’d like to say she’s gonna get what’s coming to her, and she’s gonna get what she’s been deserving for months now…I’d like to say all that, but…I kinda agree with Star. Knowing Haze, she’s going to have something planned up her sleeve, and Dan may be too laser focused to notice if something’s amiss. I hope I’m wrong, but I guess we’ll find out.
Tayna Reihl: Well, that only leaves one last match, and it’s the big one. A Last Woman Standing match for the PWS: APEX World Championship, as champion, Sierra Williams, defends against Audrey Russow.
Josiah Cena: This one is the one we’re waiting on. No one, I mean no one, has been as dominant as Sierra has over the past year and change. Every challenger that has stepped up to her, she has knocked back down. No one has been able to beat her when it counts. If that title is on the line? I don’t see how you count against the champ. That being said, I don’t think she’s met a challenge quite like this one. Audrey has all the momentum, and all the confidence she needs to pull what many would call an upset and go home with the PWS: APEX World Championship.
Star Stormz: I can’t disagree with anything you have said. Sierra is one of the most dominant people in this business. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone in PWS history hold a title for as long as she has. She has taken on every single challenger… even an elimination chamber… and keeps coming out on top. But Audrey… she has really come a long way lately. I’m really proud of how much she has blossomed and really came into her own. I know she struggled a bit with not wanting to be seen as another Russow… and believe me… she is anything but.
Fluffy: BARK BARKBARK BARK!
Candy: Fluffy says that Sierra is a really good World Champion and has done super awesome but Audrey gives really good head pats and ear skritches. And that she is so excited to see this match too. But she’s hoping no one gets hurt… cuz people hurt each other over titles sometimes. And that makes me sad.
Tayna Reihl: This one is going to be demanding, that’s for sure. Given what happened at Demon’s Run, as Audrey’s body quite literally gave out on her, do you think she’s done what it takes to prepare herself for this one? Who do you see walking out of Hawaii as our World Champion?
Josiah Cena: Love Audrey to death, and I think she has every tool she needs to become world champ, and she will get there…one day. But I just think…on this night, against this world champ…you can’t bet against Sierra. She has been too dominant, and has always found a way to win. Last night, we talked about Alexis finding a way to always win, that is the epitome of Sierra’s reign. Every single time we thought her reign might be in jeopardy, she comes out and knocks it out of the park. I just…don’t see tonight being any different. Audrey’s gonna give her one hell of a fight, but I think Sierra will be too much, in the end.
Star Stormz: While I see your point, I think this could be the end of Sierra’s reign. Audrey has the focus, the want, and the need to win this. This is her redemption for the Elimination Chamber and she has more to prove than Sierra does. I’d bet money on Audrey and us crowning a new champion.
Candy: Fluffy says she thinks Audrey’s gonna win…
Fluffy: BARK!
Candy: FLUFFY!!! That’s not nice young lady! You can’t judge people just cuz they don’t give belly rubs!
(Fluffy lays her head on the table and covers her nose with her paws.)
Candy: I wanna see Audrey win. She’s really nice and she deserves it.
Tayna Reihl: Well, we’ll find out shortly if she can pull it off. That’s all the time we have for the pre-show, as we hope you’ve enjoyed it. I’d like to thank Candy and Fluffy again for joining us, and wish you all at home the very best of nights, and hope you enjoy night two of PWS: APEX Destiny! So long!
Josiah Cena: Enjoy the show, everyone!
Star Stormz: Enjoy!
Candy: I hope there’s glitter on Night 2!
Fluffy: Bark!

Tayna Reihl: It’s Heather Haze versus Daniel Russow…

Daniel Russow vs. Heather Haze

Last Woman Standing Match
Sierra Williams © vs. Audrey Russow
(They all wave to the camera, before the PWS: APEX logo flashes across the screen, and the feed cuts to black.)
