(The show comes on the air, as we see a shot inside PWS Arena, as the fans are filing in, making sure to stay socially distant, as “Raise Hell” by Dorothy plays over the feed. After a moment, we are greeted by the voice of PWS: APEX reporter, Tayna Reihl.)
Tayna Reihl: Hello PWS: APEX Fans and welcome to the preshow for Demon’s Run! I’m Tayna Reihl and tonight we are doing something NEW that we have never done before in PWS: APEX! I am being joined by three long time PWS alumni in a panel to review and discuss tonight's show! So let’s welcome our first panelist. He is a PWS Hall of Famer and Head Trainer here, along with Staff Consultant. He is a man of many hats… please welcome Josiah Cena!
(The camera widens once more to show Josiah Cena sitting next to Star wearing a black suit jacket with a white shirt under it.)
Josiah Cena: Happy to be here! It’s going to be a great night, with plenty of great matches, as we really begin the road to Destiny!
Tayna Reihl: And sitting next to him, let me introduce to you a name that is synonymous with PWS, she ran the old PWSi for several years, she played a huge role in bringing PWS back, and she still does a lot of hard work behind the scenes. Love her or hate her… please welcome to the panel… Star Stormz!
(The camera widens to show Star sitting next to Josiah wearing her signature ladies pantsuit with her hair down and wavy. She smiled.)
Star Stormz: Thanks for having me! I am so excited to be here and take part in this ground breaking PWS moment. Tonight’s show is going to be amazing.
Tayna Reihl: I couldn’t agree more. And our third panelist tonight… he is also a Hall of Famer, and former PWS President, Give a hand for Marcus Cage!
(The camera widens once more to show Marcus on the side of Star, wearing a black button down shirt.)
Marcus Cage: Thank you, it’s an honor to have been chosen for this. PWS is my home, and I am always up for anything that she needs. We have some interesting matches tonight that I am pretty excited to discuss with you guys.
(He looks over seeing Josiah sitting next to Tayna and he chuckles a little bit. Josiah catches this and looks a little confused.)
Josiah Cena: Is something funny, Marcus?
Marcus Cage: Oh… it’s just that of COURSE you sit next to the interviewer. You have a thing for interviewers, dontcha…
(He smirks and winks towards Tayna a bit.)
Marcus Cage: Cuz we ALL know what happened LAST TIME he sat next to an interviewer
(Josiah shrugs.)
Josiah Cena: I mean…
Marcus Cage: I kid. I kid.
Tayna Reihl: Well let’s not waste anymore time! We can jump right into our first match of the night. Let’s take a look at this video package showing the road to the Collateral Damage Four Corners Deathmatch.
PWS: APEX PRESENTS CRUSADE
December 22, 2020
Alfonso Banks: This is getting uncomfortable to watch….
(Cleo throws the chair down and takes a few deep breaths before pulling the table out and setting it up near the corner, Cleo grabs a trash can and as she steps towards Tayler she eats a big boot to the trash can right back into her face. Cleo goes down and Tayler is now back in charge, she looks over at the table and the corner with a small smirk on her face.)
JR Freeman: Uh oh...that look isn’t exactly calming
Alfonso Banks: Something bad is about to happen…...
(Tayler grabs a trash can lid and blacks Cleo with it, Cleo goes weak at the knees and Tayler pulls Cleo to the corner and pulls her up and climbs to the second rope, Tayler tries to lock in the Full nelson slam, Cleo throws her head back connecting with Taylers still bleeding nose, Tayler holds the top rope and Cleo turns around before grabbing Tayler by the hair pulling her back into the Set it off, Cleo spins with the rolling cutter off the middle rope drilling Tayler through the table!. Cleo lands on top of Tayler draping an arm over her.)
ONE

THREE!
JR Freeman: Good god it’s over!
Meg Reynolds: Here is your winner, and NEW PWS:APEX COLLATERAL DAMAGE CHAMPION CLEO PHILLIPS

PWS: APEX RIOT
January 12, 2021
JR Freeman: Well, ladies and gentlemen, we’re about to hear from the New….
(JR Freeman is interrupted before finishing by the sound of M.I.A., the theme song of Cleo Phillips, the new Collateral Damage champion.)
‘You see them goons down there?
You don't wanna go that way.
I'm gonna put the gold in my mouth.
I'm gonna put the pole to ya' face
All of these racks on me? I'm gonna put em in my bank.
I be going in my bag, they be goin' M.I.A.’
Meg Reynolds: Please welcome at this time, already making her way to the ring, being accompanied by Big Mo’, she is the NEEEEEEEEEEEEEW PWS:APEX COLLATERAL DAMAGE CHAMPION, SHE CALLS HERSELF THE BODY SNATCHER, CLEOOOOOOOO PHILLIPS!!!!!!!!!
(Cleo wears the belt around her wait as she swaggers down the ramp arrogantly on her way to the ring, taunting some of the fans along the way. Big Mo’ follows behind with the slower bodyguard walk. Once Cleo gets into the ring, she swaggers and taunts the crowd some more before benign given a microphone.)
Cleo Phillips: Well, what did I tell each and every one of you? That I was someone who was going straight to the top. That I wasn’t going to take my time doing it, and look at me now. Not even six months into my career here and already a champion. Now, I understand the circumstances were not favorable to the former champ Heather Haze.
(The crowd interrupts Cleo with a chorus of boos at the mention of Heather's name.)
Cleo Phillips: I can promise you this much, I’ll take whatever they throw at me. I won’t go on twitter and complain about being put in harm's way. I absolutely DARE the powers that be to try and take this from me. I won’t give it up as easily as Heather Haze did. Simply put, I won’t go down without a fight.
JR Freeman: Well, she definitely proved at Crusade that she can fight.
Alfonso Banks: You’re damn right she can. I’ve been hyping her up since her arrival. Maybe next time you’ll listen to me!
Cleo Phillips: Anyone who wants to step up is welcome to try. Understand you’re stepping into a world of hurt, and you can ask Tayler Parks how it feels. The Mosh Pit Princess gave it her best shot, but in the end it just wasn’t enough.
(The crowd boos Cleo, and starts taunting her with chants, much to her and Big Mo’s displeasure.)
Crowd: You tapped out!! You tapped out!!!
JR Freeman: The crowd makes a good point, had that been a single fall match then Cleo would NOT be holding that championship right now.
Cleo Phillips: Yet here I stand still as YOUR COLLATERAL DAMAGE CHAMPION, because it appears Tayler may have gotten a win in the race, but we were competing in a marathon and only one of us was able to go the distance. Don’t like it, too bad. DEAL.
(The crowd continues with the boo and some of the you tapped out chants still linger, clearly getting to Cleo’s nerves some. As the crowd taunts her some more, Big Mo’ passes her an object from her pocket, a prison shank like the one she had on the preshow. Cleo holds it up to camera.)
Cleo Phillips: Now, I didn’t have to use this at Crusade. Look at this as more of a warning of what you COULD walk into if you want to get froggy and take a dangerous leap in the wrong direction. It only takes me a few minutes to make one of these. I just made this one backstage. I’m a champion now and I’ll do what I need to to defend what’s mine.
JR Freeman: She can’t be serious! That could seriously hurt somebody.
Alfonso Banks: I’m not sure she cares.
Cleo Phillips: Like it or not, I’m the Collateral Damage champion, and if anyone has a problem with that, then please...I beg you. Come do something about it, and I’ll show you how I..... SET IT OFF.
(Cleo drops the mic, and passes the shank back to Big Mo’ to conceal, before the two exit and head back up the ramp to Cleo’s theme song.)

PWS: APEX RIOT
January 26th, 2021
Josiah Cena: Weeeeelllllllcooooooommmmmeeee to Tuuuuuuuuuuesday Night RIOT!
(The fans cheer.)
Josiah Cena: Now, as some of you may know, I was brought on here to PWS: APEX to serve as one of the head trainers, alongside Cameron Russow, after Audrey took her maternity leave last year. Now, after there’s been some...changes in management, I’ve been brought on to be a staff consultant as well….so basically...I can just show up and say hi from time to time, like tonight. Right here, in New York, New York!
(The fans cheer for the cheap plug, as Cena gives a cheesy grin.)
Josiah Cena: But in all seriousness, I’m out here because we advertised that there would be an announcement made regarding the Collateral Damage Championship match at Demon’s Run. The match we saw at Crusade between Cleo Phillips and Tayler Parks was definitely a brutal and vicious affair, one worthy of being associated with the Collateral Damage Championship. The Collateral Damage Championship certainly has a storied history in PWS, with some great names holding it in the past. There have been many, many, many bloody and brutal brawls over it, and I think it’s time we kind of go back to that. Every champion has had their fair share of challengers, and Cleo Phillips will be no exception. She came out here last Riot and made some bold claims. She talked about how she wouldn’t go down without a fight, and even dared the powers that be to try and take the title from her. Well, we’re not trying to do that, but we ARE going to see if she can back up everything she says. So, with all that being said, at Demon’s Run, Cleo Phillips will defend her PWS: APEX Collateral Damage Championship against…
(The fans wait in anticipation.)
Josiah Cena: Shawn Young…
(The fans cheer at the mention of Shawn Young.)
Josiah Cena: Jonathan Sanders….
(More boos from the crowd.)
Josiah Cena:...and Tyson Sykes in a Four Corners Deathmatch.!
(The fans cheer.)
JR Freeman: My God...that’s going to be brutal!
Alfonso Banks: Well, Cleo DID say she was up for any challenge…
Josiah Cena: I wish all the competitors in the match the best of luck, and I hope everyone enjoys the show tonight.
(Josiah gives a wave, as his music hits, and he exits the ring, and makes his way back up the ramp.)
JR Freeman: Wow! What a match made for Demon’s Run. That’s going to be insane!
Alfonso Banks: I hope Cleo Phillips is ready for that, it could get really ugly with that combination of people in it.
JR Freeman: I just wonder if Shawn Young is going to have it in him to get as nasty as the others are more than likely willing to be.
Alfonso Banks: Only time will tell. I guess we’ll find out at Demon’s Run.
JR Freeman: Indeed we will, but for now, it’s time for our opening match of the night, as Jonathan Sanders takes on Tayler Parks! Let’s send it back to the ring, and Meg Reynolds.

Non-Title
Cleo Phillips vs. Shawn Young
(Cleo and Shawn start off pretty evenly matched. Shawn takes early advantage, putting focus on the left arm of Cleo. He continues to keep focus there, putting on as much pressure as he can to wear her down. She takes everything he can dish out, but when he puts her in a cross armbreaker on the weakened left arm, she begins to waiver and scream out in pain. The referee asks if she wants to give up, but she screams that she refuses.)
Alfonso Banks: That is a solid strategy from Shawn! Cleo is known for being brutal, so you have to focus on one area.
JR Freeman: And Shawn is doing that well. That left arm must be hurting pretty good!
(Cleo struggles but gets to the ropes, causing the referee to force Shawn to break the hold. Cleo begins to take control of the match, doing everything in her power to wear down her opponent. After several minutes of back and forth action, Cleo hits a “Set It Off” and goes for the pin.)
1…
2…
3!!!
Meg Reynolds: And your winner by pinfall… The PWS:APEX COLLATERAL DAMAGE CHAMPION… CLEO PHILLIPS!!!
(Cleo kicks the motionless body of Shawn out of the ring as she celebrates her victory.)

February 9, 2021
(We cut backstage where we see Tyson Sykes sitting in a folding chair, attempting to tape up his wrists while also pinning his cell phone to his ear.)
Tyson Sykes: What? Yeah I'm on soon, so tune in Kay. I'm getting ready right now -
(Suddenly, there is a knock on Sykes door. He looks up and tares the tape.)
Tyson Sykes: Hold up girl, someone's at the door.
(He approaches his locker room door and opens it, with nobody there. Sykes looks confused and looks down the hallway, and eventually shrugs and goes back in and picks up his tape again.)
Tyson Sykes: Weird. Nope no idea, nobody was there. Must have been someone at a different locker room, halls echo like crazy. Anyways how's ol' Holmes doin'? You better be treatin' him rig-
(A knock at the door a second time, this time louder. Sykes looks up again, clearly annoyed. He goes to the door and swings it open quickly this time, and still the hallway is empty.)
Tyson Sykes: Mother fuckers...
(This time he slams the door. He grabs his tape once more and tries to get back to getting ready.)
Tyson Sykes: Sorry, not you. Someone knocked again. Some kid trying to be cute or something, no clue. Regardless, you going to be at Demon's Run? You know I got my big title match and it'd be nice to see you ther-
(Suddenly the door is POUNDED on. The thuds are so loud the lockers behind Sykes begin to vibrate. He looks up, irate.)
Tyson Sykes: Kay I gotta go, I'm about to decapitate some dumb mother fucker.
(He hangs up the phone and throws it aside, he takes the tape in his hand and throws it at the door. He grabs the steel chair he was sitting in and folds it up, slamming it close as hard as he can. He then approaches the door quickly.)
Tyson Sykes: ALRIGHT YOU WANNA PLAY GAMES? WELL LET'S PLAY COCK SU-
(He swings open the door and again, there's nobody. However Sykes stops this time, staring at the wall across from his locker room. The camera pans and on the white wall in black spray paint is written in huge, dripping letters "DEMON'S RUN". Sykes stares at it for a moment, a mix of anger, confusion, then almost excitement crossing his face.)
Tyson Sykes: ... I see you. I hear you. Let's play.
(Sykes throws the chair at the wall with the paint and charges down the hallway. The camera pans back to the wall and we cut back to ringside with a final view of the "Demon's Run" covering the wall.)

(The cameras pan around the arena, catching cheers from the socially distanced crowd, as “M.I.A” by Lex Bratcher feat. Crypt starts to play from the speakers, as Collateral Damage champion Cleo Phillips appears onstage posing with the championship, followed as always by her partner-in-crime Big Mo’. They ignore the jeers from the fans as they make their way down to the ring.)
Alfonso Banks: Well, it looks like our Collateral Damage champion is gracing us with her presence.
JR Freeman: I’m guessing this is in response to the major announcement about her match at Demon’s Run.
(In the ring, Cleo takes a microphone, and after the crowd quiets down enough, she begins to speak.)
Cleo Phillips: So, the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for. After I won this championship, I proudly said I was ready for any challenge, and dared anyone to take it from me. Josiah Cena must have been listening, because he gave me just that, a challenge, against not one, not two but THREE of the fastest rising stars in PWS: Apex. I guess now that I’m an actual champion, they need to find their next fast rising star. I’m not rising anymore, this belt means I made it, it means that I am the star, and the three boys I’m up against are just vying to be the next.
Big Mo’: I guess that makes you the gatekeeper now. The star they let the new guys try their luck against after they get a few wins under their belt.
Cleo Phillips: Well, I beat Shawn Young already but I see where you’re going with that. Actually, I’d like all three of my opponents to come out here, I’d like to talk to them face to face. I’d like to look them in the eye and let them know how I feel. So, if it pleases you gentlemen, could you come out here please?
JR Freeman: What’s this about I wonder?
Alfonso Banks” Do you listen at all? She wants to look her opponent in the eyes before the big match, like a real champion.
(“Trials” by STARSET plays over the PA system, as three little people dressed up as Sanders, Young and Sykes respectively come walking out on stage and down to the ramp, mocking the mannerisms of their larger doppelganger.)
JR Freeman: Oh c’mon, seriously?
Alfonso Banks: HA! I love it JR. This is classic stuff right here.
JR Freeman: Yeah, the champs a regular Gene Wilder.
(Cleo and Big Mo’ cackle like they’re a pack of hyenas in a Disney movie as the little people enter the ring.)
Cleo Phillips: Thank you for coming out here boys, I do appreciate it. Each of you have impressed in your short times here at PWS:Apex. Enough to earn yourselves a championship match, almost right out the gate. I have some questions on why Shawn Young gets a title shot after I beat him, but I’m not complaining about it or anything.
(Mini-Shawn, mic in hand lowers his shades slightly as he steps forward to speak)
Mini-Shawn: You got me once, but it won’t happen again. The Young Hit Wonder will beat some respect into you and take that championship away.
Cleo Phillips: I like the confidence, I’m not sure it’s going to be enough. It wasn’t last time but hey, never give up on the dream there kid.
(Suddenly, Mini-Sykes snatches the mic from Mini-Shawn, and pushes him aside. Mini-Sanders broods in an over-dramatic fashion, watching from one of the corners.)
Mini-Sykes: With all due respect Shawn Young, you couldn’t get the job done when the title wasn’t on the line, your chances are even slimmer when the stakes are raised. Now, you listen to me champ. Remember how Tayler Parks made you submit? That’s because she’s a trained fighter like myself. You got lucky that match was three falls, and you know it. This time is different however. If you tap out this time, it’s all over and there will be no extra falls to save you. I am going to make you TAP OUT just like Tayler did.
Cleo Phillips: Again, Tayler and I were in a MARATHON. So that’s what I came prepared for. I know this time is different, there is no marathon. But I’m still preparing for the race, and I can assure you this is one I will win.
(Mini-Sanders grunts in the corner, catching the attention of everyone else in the ring, somehow he got his own mic while everyone else was talking.)
Mini-Sanders: I’m tired of listening to all of you. None of you have dealt with the horrors I’ve been forced to face. Even you champ. While you’ve seen many horrors of this world, none of it compares to mine. You’ve been to prison. My mind IS a prison that I am confined to day and night, twenty-four seven. The Demons are my friends, and the pay per view is Demons Run. My friends and I are going to run all over each and every one of you. Champ, you about to find out how much darker the world gets than the one you know.
Cleo Phillips: And here we have the weird kid who always ate lunch alone. The one that made the entire school worried for their personal safety. All because he missed a few hugs growing up.
Mini-Sanders: THIS WILL BE YOUR FINAL WARNING. THERE IS A PALE RIDER AND HIS NAME IS DEATH. HE AND HIS DEMONS ARE COMING FOR…
(Mini-Sykes suddenly interrupts.)
Mini-Sykes: Would you shut the hell up? Nobody wants to hear your crazy ramblings, you’re not edgy or cool. You’re just a sad little boy that wasn’t loved enough.
(Mini-Sanders and Mini-Sykes start to get in a shoving contest, soon joined by Mini-Shawn and all three start fighting each other around the ring, as Cleo and Big Mo’ with laughter, eventually Cleo speaks up again.)
Cleo Phillips: BOYS!!!
(The three stop fighting, and all turn to face Cleo and Big Mo’)
Cleo Phillips: Take it easy! Let’s save it for Demon’s Run yeah?
(The three nod in agreement, but it’s only for a moment before Big Mo’ strikes lifting Mini-Shawn into the air and tossing him out the ring. Mini-Sykes and Mini-Sanders charge at Cleo, but she takes them both down with a double clothesline. Then irish whips each of them into a boot from Big Mo’. Mini-Shawn made his way back to to a turnbuckle and comes flying off, only to get caught by Big Mo’. He gets tosses over to Cleo who hits her Set It Off finisher, before her and Big Mo’ kick all three of the little fighters out of the ring, she take the mic once more and gets the camera to focus on her face, now filled with intensity.)
Cleo Phillips: Obviously I was just making jokes, and having fun here. But understand this, come Demons Run, the fun and games are over. When the three of you step into that ring, you’re stepping in there with the baddest bitch to ever walk the streets of The Bronx. I’ve been in some wild gang fights and prison brawls before so I know I can handle the heat. Can any of you say the same? Perhaps Sanders has a case, but Sykes and Young? You two are too soft for what’s about to happen. Neither of you know about real violence like someone such as myself or Sanders would. The problem with Sanders however is his mind, the guy might actually be crazy and those people never make the proper decisions. You all should know by now I’m no ordinary bitch, and you all better come prepared because you’re going to see how I, SET IT OFF.
(Cleo drops the mic, and exits backstage with Big Mo’ to her theme song.)
(The video package ends, and we cut back to the panel.)
Tayna Reihl: So now tonight, we are going to see the Four Corners Deathmatch with Cleo Phillips defending her title. What are your predictions?
Star Stormz: Well… I think the biggest thing we are going to see in that match is going to be blood… and a lot of it. Cleo is going in with a target on her back… but also remember… she doesn’t have to be the one pinned to lose the title. So she needs to have eyes in the back of her head the entire time. She has a tough road ahead of her, but I think she can come out victorious tonight.
Josiah Cena: It’s definitely going to be an interesting one, for sure. I’m interested to see if Shawn Young can manage to do what it takes to get as violent as he’s gonna need to be in the match. Let’s be honest. We know the other three have that vicious side to them, I’m not saying Shawn doesn’t..I just don’t know that I’ve seen it yet.
Tayna Reihl: So, who’s your money on?
Josiah Cena: Honestly? I think Sykes is the one to watch for. I think he’s got the momentum and can walk out tonight with the victory.
Tayna Reihl: And what do you think, Marcus?
Marcus Cage: Well… not to be “that guy” or anything… but when you look at the physical side of things, Cleo is at a very distinct disadvantage. She is much smaller than everyone else in the match. Not to take anything away from her, but she is easily viewed as the underdog in this. And I know a thing or two about being the underdog. Now this can work out in her favor or be very much a disadvantage to her. All depends on how she plays it. She is going to have to work harder than the others to pull out the victory out there tonight. She doesn’t even have to be involved in the decision to lose the title, so she HAS to pin or submit one of those three guys to keep the belt. But any of them can be pinned or submit and she loses it without being part of it. That’s got to be on her find, as these matches are never the kind to favor the champion. And the people she is fighting against are no joke. Sykes is BRUTAL and Shawn Young has so much raw talent. Jonathan Sanders is also one to watch for. All 4 of these young stars have the potential to go far in this company. But as for this match right here tonight, my money would have to be on Cleo. She has gone through hell and back to get that title… and I can tell she isn’t ready to lose it yet. And we all know exactly what kinds of things a woman is capable of when she sets her mind to it.
(The camera pans over to Star, who smirks and shrugs a bit.)
Star Stormz: You’re not wrong.
Tayna Reihl: Well, let’s take a second to look at our next match, as it’s going to be a highly anticipated match for the PWS: APEX United Championship.
PWS: APEX RIOT
November 24, 2020
(The cameras come back to a shot of the hallway as Ambika Renton comes walking up to the door of her office, letting out a tired sigh as she opens the door. But as she does, she sees someone sitting in the chair opposite her desk, who jumps to their feet and whirls around to reveal Jack Russow. A warm smile graces her face as she walks up to greet him, her hand extended for a handshake.)
Ambika Renton: Jack Russow, a pleasure to finally meet you face to face.
(Jack shakes her hand back enthusiastically.)
Jack Russow: Likewise, boss lady.
(Ambika smiles again at him, walking around and sitting in the chair behind her desk as Jack sits back down in his chair.)
Jack Russow: So, you wanted to see me?
Ambika Renton: I did. I know I’m the new kid on the block around here, and it may seem like I don’t know the ins and outs of the place yet. But I have been watching pretty much since PWS came back to the scene last year.
(Jack looks a little surprised at that.)
Jack Russow: You have?
(Ambika nods.)
Ambika Renton: Of course. You can take the girl out of the business, but you can’t take the business out of the girl. I always keep an eye on companies that look like they’re on the rise...as well as competitors. And you, Mister Russow...you are one of the brightest young competitors I have seen in a very long time.
(Jack gets a little shy smile on his face.)
Jack Russow: Aw, stop…
Ambika Renton: I’m serious, Jack. You have untouchable skill and talent in the ring, you are charismatic as all hell, you’ve got the good looks, and you have a connection with the fans that can’t be measured. You have a very long, incredible future ahead of you in this business. Hell, you’re already off to an amazing start. SCW Roulette Champion and PWS United Champion, all in less than a year.
(Jack fidgets in his chair a little, his cheeks turning slightly pink, but Ambika continues.)
Ambika Renton: Now, I realize that the roster here in PWS is a bit on the thin side, but I want to give you the opportunities to show your talent as a fighting champion. I want you to be able to say that you defended your title against some of the best. And I believe I have that challenge for you for Crusade.
(At that statement, Jack perks up a bit, looking intrigued.)
Jack Russow: Oh, really?
(Ambika nods with a little sly smirk on her face.)
Ambika Renton: I do. But...I also want to keep you on your toes. Keep you guessing. So, I’m going to keep your opponent a surprise until the show.
(Almost in a comically exaggerated fashion, Jack’s jaw drops and his eyes widen.)
Jack Russow: But...that’s...I mean….
Ambika Renton: Jack, I’m not doing this out of spite or anything of the sort. But believe me when I say that this is going to be a match that will be talked about for years to come. Do you trust me?
(After a brief moment, he gives a little nod of his head. Ambika smiles again.)
Ambika Renton: Good! I’m really looking forward to seeing this match, if I can be honest. I will say this though...you might want to diversify your training routine.
(Jack is still speechless as he rises from the chair and heads out of the door. Ambika watches him with a little smile before turning back to her laptop as the scene fades away.)

PWS: APEX United Championship Match
Jack Russow (c) vs. TBA
December 22, 2020
(The scene cuts to Crusade, where Emma Russow is standing in the ring with her son, Jack.)
Emma Russow: Like I said, I’ve done a lot in this company...but one thing I haven’t done is ring announcing, so I figured...why not?
Jack Russow: Okay...please...I’m BEGGING….let the next person to come out be my opponent...no more games...no more mindfuckery, please!
Emma Russow: Is that what you want?
Jack Russow: YES!
(The lights go out once more…)
“THE INDIFFERENCE...OF GOOD...MEN!”
(Pyro shoots out from the stage, as blinding lights shine, as the opening guitar to “Critical Acclaim” by Avenged Sevenfold begins to blare over the sound system. Jack drops to his knees in the ring, as PWS Hall of Famer, Nick Madison, walks out onto the stage. The pyro hits along with the drum hits. Nick stops at the top of the stage, and poses as the flames soar into the air. The scream of M. Shadows cuts through, as Nick starts to make his way to the ring.)
Emma Russow: Introducing the challenger, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, now residing in New York, New York...he is a PWS Grand Slam Champion, and PWS Hall of Famer...NIIIIICK MAAAADISOOOOOON!
(The footage then switches to the end of the match. On the outside, the two get to their feet, as inside the ring, the ref starts the count. Jack drives Nick into the barricade.)
1…

(Jack turns and goes to drive Nick into the ing apron, but Nick turns it around and drives Jack into the ring apron.)

(The two start exchanging right hand shots.)
5…

(The two continue to brawl on the outside, moving around the ring on the outside trading punches.)

JR Freeman: They better get back in the ring…
Levi Russow: PAY ATTENTION, KID!
9…
(Just before the ref counts 10, both Nick and Jack slide ack into the ring. Jack is the first to his feet, as he quickly gets Nick in position, going for the Cut The Cord, but Nick breaks out of it, and gets into position to deliver the Neuro-Mutilation, but Jack shoves Nick away. Nick turns around to eat a vicious superkick. Nick falls to the mat, as Jack takes the opportunity to go over to the corner, climbing up to the top turnbuckle, and leaping off, rotating in the air, with a corkscrew 630, also known as November Pain, but at the last second, Nick gets his knees up, as Jack crashes into them. Jack writhes in pain. Nick gets to his feet, walking over to Jack. He ges Jack to his feet, and goes to pull him down into the Fade Away, but Jack quickly manages to avoid it, and somehow reverses it into Desolation Row!)
JR Freeman: Desolation Row!
Levi Russow: Impressive!
*DING DING DING*
Levi Russow: Th’ FUCK!?
Alfonso Banks: Uh...Nick didn’t tap…
JR Freeman: What’s going on?
(Jack, who has just locked in the submission, lets go, thinking he’s won, but the ref assures him he didn’t call for the bell. There is mass confusion at ringside, as no one knows what’s going on, until we hear Emma Russow make the announcement.)
Emma Russow: Ladies and gentlemen, the thirty minute time limit has expired, therefor this match will end in a time limit draw! Annnnd therefor, and STILLLL the PWS: APEX United Champion….Jack Russow!
Levi Russow: Dat some boooolshit!
JR Freeman: Oh, come on! Five more minutes!
(In the ring, Jack looks a little defeated, as he’s handed the United Championship. Nick gets to his feet, and the two exchange some words, before shaking hands.)
JR Freeman: A nice show of sportsmanship there by both men. They just fought a war, so it’s good to see them like this.
Levi Russow: BLOOD! WE WANT BLOOD!
Alfonso Banks: Would you stop!?
Levi Russow: Do YOU volunteer as tribute?
Alfonso Banks: No thank you.
(The handshake lasts a moment longer, as the two talk a little more, before Nick gets out of the ring and Jack stands in the middle of the ring, looking at his United Championship. He rolls out of the ring, and goes straight to Alannah, giving her a tight hug and a kiss, before they start to head to the back. Back at ringside, Levi gets up from the commentary table, as he takes Emma arm in arm, and they make their exit backstage.)

PWS: APEX RIOT
January 12, 2021
(The camera cuts to JR and Alf at ringside.)
JR Freeman: A nice debut there by Jonathan Sanders. Ladies and gentlemen, we have some breaking news. At Crusade, we saw Nick Madison make his return, as he was revealed as the mystery opponent for Jack Russow’s United Championship. The match went to a time limit draw, and both Russow and Madison have expressed desire to have a rematch. Well, now we can make it official. The rematch is going to happen when PWS: APEX returns to pay-per-view on February 23rd, as PWS: APEX presents Demon’s Run!
Alfonso Banks: The first match between these two was great, I’m sure everyone will be looking forward to the rematch.
JR Freeman: It was considered one of the highlights of Crusade, as I’m sure it will steal the show once again at Demon’s Run.
Alfonso Banks: They say what a difference a year can make, but some things stay the same. It was at Demon’s Run last year where Mack McKane won the World Title. We saw Nick Madison return at last year’s Demon’s Run, when he made the save for his brother-in-law, Michael O’Neil, after his match with Lukas Emery. Which, that led to one of the most personal rivalries we’ve seen in PWS: APEX, as those two faced off at last year’s Destiny in a Monster’s Ball.
JR Freeman: The road to this year’s Destiny begins on February 23rd, as we come to you with Demon’s Run! Don’t miss it!
(We cut back to the panel after the video package.)
Tayna Reihl: Alright, so what are your thoughts on this match?
Marcus Cage: I’m just going to start off by saying that I have been in the ring with Nick Madison… on both ends. I’ve been on the same team, and I’ve been across the ring as an opponent and I gotta say… Nick is one of the TOUGHEST bastards this business can put you against. He has a very deep connection with the ring and he is absolutely willing to do whatever he has to in order to get the win… friend or family aside. He is absolutely brutal when he needs to be. Let’s not forget the day that Center Stage formed and he speared Laura Phoenix… the woman who went on to become his wife and mother of his child.
Star Stormz: That’s very true, Nick is a fierce competitor. But so is young Jack. He has been trained by the best, including Nick himself. Jack has the best of many legendary superstars under his belt… you gotta figure that’s gonna factor in.
Josiah Cena: This one is gonna be a tough one. Nick is in a shape I haven’t seen him in quite some time. He’s got this new motivation about him, and he’s just got this...determination about him. It’s like ever since he got the Hall of Fame induction, it’s like it breathed new life into the guy. I remember a conversation we had a few months before Crusade, when he was talking about coming back, but he wanted a good reason to come back. I think it’s safe to say he found a damn good reason.
Tayna Reihl: Agreed. Both men in this match have superb talent and training, and very deep roots in this business. Last time they fought, Jack didn’t get a chance to know who he was preparing against. And I gotta say, now that he knows, he knows exactly how to prepare for this match. That, combined with being younger, I think is going to give him that slight advantage over Nick. Who do you guys predict for the win?
Star Stormz: It’s a close one, but I think that Jack’s desire to prove himself is going to give him that extra something he needs to beat his uncle in that ring. But it won’t be easy. So I gotta say Jack is my prediction.
Marcus Cage: I have to disagree there, Star. Jack is an amazing talent, don’t get me wrong. I would love the chance to share the ring with him one day just to test him out and see exactly what he can bring first hand. But when you have as much of a history with someone as I do with Nick… you can’t count him out. He may not be the young one in the match, but I don’t think age is going to factor in at all. He knows what he wants, and he is going to do what it takes to get it. I gotta pick Nick Madison as the new United Champion.
Josiah Cena: Well, I have quite a bit of history with both competitors in this match, but Nick’s been my best friend for over a decade...pretty much since we met. We travelled the road together in the Warriors, fought alongside each other countless times...hell, we were each other’s best man at our weddings. There’s no way on earth I could go against him. Plus, and I know he’s not thinking about it this way, but it WAS Jack that took the United Championship from Bella Madison at Dishonored of last year, so if Nick wins it tonight, could be a measure of revenge. But, like I said, I know Nick’s not thinking of it that way, just a little added thing. But, my money’s on Nick to walk out as the new PWS: APEX United Champion.
Tayna Reihl: Alright, some good insight there. Now it’s time to take a look at one of the more...personal...contests tonight, as the PWS: APEX Tag Team Championships will be on the line, as Heather Haze and Alexis Makarios defend against the team of Audrey and Daniel Russow.
PWS: APEX DISHONORED
October 15, 2019
(The cameras cut backstage to see Daniel Russow walking down the hall. He’s looking for Alexis Makarios to tell her about the main event change. He finds her at catering eating a salad.)
Daniel Russow: Hey Homewrecker…
Alexis Makarios: What do you want, Russow? I'm just trying to enjoy a nice salad before I have to go out there and make your main event match interesting. What could you POSSIBLY want?
Daniel Russow: Oh the match would have been interesting enough, but it’s not happening tonight. Malachi is stuck in traffic, and we don’t know if he’ll make it in time. So my brother and Jack are getting the main event spot. You don’t have to go out there and bore the television crowd with your failed attempt at comedy on commentary.
Alexis Makarios: You are hilarious… it's always the same with you, isnt it? Tired old pranks and tricks at your opponents expense. Well, I'm not falling for it. You just dont want any distractions…
Daniel Russow: What distractions? Your only positive quality was your Australian accent, cause those are hot, but you don’t even have that anymore. Now you sound more like a chick from the valley that is annoying as hell. As for the match, it really is can rolled. You can still go out there, but you’ll look like more of an idiot than usual.
Alexis Makarios: Well, that sucks. And you can say I'm annoying aaaaaall you want. End of the day… I'm still champ and you are not. So you can say and do whatever you want, that little fact still remains. Now please, shoo so that I can enjoy the rest of my dinner in peace?
Daniel Russow: No wonder you and Younger haven’t set a date yet or even talked about it. I wouldn’t wanna marry a bitch like you, and he’s probably wondering what the hell he got himself into.
(Alexis puts down her fork and stands up, standing face to face with Dan)
Alexis Makarios: You leave James' name out of your mouth and stop speaking of things you dont know!
Daniel Russow: I’m just saying...and one thing I do know is that title you keep reminding everyone about like a broken record is coming home with me at Last Rites. No amount of spray tan, none of your fake friends, nor your regretful fiancé can do anything about it. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if James wisens up and leaves you after you’ve lost the title and you go into that crazy psycho chick mentality cause you’ve “lost yyour precious.”
(Alexis's face is red, and she blurts out in anger)
Alexis Makarios: AT LEAST MY PARENTS CARED ENOUGH ABOUT ME TO NOT LEAVE ME ON A STRANGER’S DOORSTEP!
(As soon as the words leave her mouth, she covers her mouth with both hands, shocked at what she just said.)
Alexis Makarios: I… I didnt mean…
Daniel Russow: Unless you wanna have your face driven all down that buffet, you should get out of my face...now.
Alexis Makarios: Dan, I’m-
(Before she can even get the apology out, Dan picks her plate that the salad is on, and shoves it in her face! The two immediately start trading shots, as Alexis is really just trying to defend herself, continually apologizing as the two fight. The two fight over to the buffet, and Alexis shoves a cheeseburger in Dan’s face, and Dan shoves chicken finger in Lexi’s mouth. Suddenly, security rushes in, including Nick Madison and Mihal. The two hold Dan back, as Alexis is escorted away.)
Daniel Russow: I’m gonna make that bitch pay!

PWS: APEX CRUSADE
December 22, 2020
(Morgan stomps the left arm of Heather, putting focus on that arm. Heather slides out of the ring to get free from her. Morgan looks to Miles, who nods towards Heather. Morgan then takes a few steps back, runs, and dives right over the top rope!!! She connects straight to Heather with a diving crossbody! The crowd goes nuts!!!)
Alfonso Banks: OH MY GOD!!!
JR Freeman: AIR MORGAN!!!
(The crowd is chanting “MORGAN! MORGAN!” as both ladies are down outside the ring. The referee begins to count again.)
1...2...3…
(Morgan begins to stir, getting to her knees. She looks over and sees Heather, then looks to Miles who is stomping his feet and clapping, getting the crowd in on it. Alexis drops off the mat and rushes to check on her partner. She helps Heather to her feet..)
4...5...6…
(Realizing what is going on, Alexis sends Heather back into the ring.)
7…
(She then grabs Morgan and rolls her into the ring too. Miles hops down and he and Alexis begin brawling outside the ring! Back in the ring, Heather is to her feet and crouches down, waiting. Morgan slowly gets to her feet and BAM! Jailbait! Morgan is down and Heather drops for the pin!
1…
(Miles hears the pin and looks to the ring, attempting to make a dash for it. Alexis notices this and jumps on his back, putting him in a sleeper hold.)
2…
JR Freeman: THIS COULD BE IT!
Alfonso Banks: Alexis doing whatever she can to keep Miles from breaking the pin!
(Miles gets to the ring apron, but the hold and Alexis’s weight on his back is just too much and slows him down. He desperately tries to get in the ring…)
Alfonso Banks: HOLY SHIT!
JR Freeman: IT’S OVER!!!
3!!!
DING DING DING!!!
Meg Reynolds: And your winners and NEW PWS:APEX TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… ALEXIS MAKARIOS AND HEATHER HAZE… THE VIXENS OF PAIN!!!!

Heather Haze: Here's’ to us...and a long lengthy reign as the queens of the tag team division. Cheers
Alexis Makarios: Cheers!
(They raise their glasses for a toast, when suddenly, the lights in the arena go out, leaving the arena in total darkness.)
Alfonso Banks: Oh come on! Who’s interrupting them!?
JR Freeman: What do you mean?
Alfonso Banks: Oh please, anytime the lights go out in a situation like this, someone just HAS to come out.
(After a moment, the tron illuminates, as the fans roar with cheers, as it shows Daniel Russow walking in the backstage area, as if he just arrived at the arena.)
JR Freeman: Daniel Russow! We knew he was going to be returning tonight!
Alfonso Banks: But why now!? He looks like he might be heading here!
(Daniel stops, looking at the camera. He tilts his head as he looks at the camera.)
Daniel Russow: The past is a funny thing, ‘innit? To quote a certain World Champ. I told you one day, it would happen, Alexis. I told you we could only walk along two different paths for so long. You have lived in this little fairytale for long enough. You still have a lot to answer for. There are debts that must be paid, and I’m simply here to collect.
(Daniel starts to walk again, as he continues.)
Daniel Russow: I see you found yourself a tag partner…
(He smirks, as he stops.)
Daniel Russow: Good….cuz I didn’t come alone.
(The tron goes dark, leaving the arena in darkness once again.)
JR Freeman: He didn’t come alone?
Alfonso Banks: Who would wanna join him!?
(The lights come back on, and the fans absolutely erupt with cheers. Because standing in the ring, behind Haze and Makarios, are Daniel Russow…
...and his wife, Audrey Russow!)
JR Freeman: HOLY SH!* IT’S AUDREY RUSSOW! AUDREY IS HERE WITH HER HUSBAND!
Alfonso Banks: I….I HAVE NO WORDS!
JR Freeman: THAT’S A FIRST!
(Heather and Alexis turn around, as Dan and Audrey both tilt their head, as Audrey gives a little smartass wave, before they go on the attack, jumping the champs. The four embark in a massive brawl, as Audrey goes straight after Alexis, and Dan and Haze start exchanging shots. The four battle over next to the table with the cake and wine on it. Dan gets the better of Haze for a moment, grabbing a glass of wine and taking a sip, holding it over Haze.)
Daniel Russow: Congrats, bitch!
(He pours the wine over Haze’s head, as Audrey takes Alexis’s head and shoves it into the cake! Alexis comes back up with cake all in her face, as she scoops some cake up from the table and hurls it at Audrey, but Audrey ducks and the cake hits Dan in the face, as security finally rushes the ring to break everything up.)
Alfonso Banks: Oh sure, NOW they show up!
JR Freeman: Not sure what took them so long...cause that escalated quickly.
Alfonso Banks: The Russows were involved...OF COURSE it was going to!
(Security manages to get Alexis and Haze out of the ring, as they grab their PWS: APEX Tag Team Championships, screaming and furious as Dan and Audrey stay in the ring. Alexis and Haze scream as they walk up the ramp, as Audrey takes a finger and scoops some of the cake off of Dan’s face, as she licks it and shrugs.)
Audrey Russow: Mmm, least the cake was good.
(The couple laugh, as we cut away to commercial.)

January 26, 2021
(Camera switches to the back as we see Tayna Reihl standing in front of the PWS: Apex logo.)
Tayna Reihl: Ladies and gentlemen, we are just a few weeks away from Demon’s Run. In fact our next Riot is our go home show and we’re still awaiting to find out who will be taking on the PWS: Apex Tag Team Champions, Alexis Makarios and Heather Haze AND who will be taking on the seemingly unbeatable PWS World Champion, Mack McKane. Well joining me right now is the PWS: Apex President Ambika Renton and I believe she is about to answer some of those questions!
(Ambika steps into the scene and smiles at Tayna.)
Ambika Renton: Hey Tayna.
Tayna Reihl: Hi Ms. Renton, first of all I know we talked about making this a PWS: Apex online exclusive but you figured right here tonight we’d just go ahead and make the match announcements for Demon’s Run.
Ambika Renton: Yes, so Demon’s Run is our first big show of the year and while we are still limited with the crowd we can have, we are indeed excited about this show. I get the honor of naming two of the top matches and first up is the PWS: Apex Tag Team Championship match as Alexis and Heather WILL defend their tag titles for the first time ever. Now typically we would have the former champions get their rematch, but I just received word that Morgan is gonna be down until probably March. So sadly Mr. Kasey and Ms. Baker will have to wait, and the two individuals that I think deserve a shot are going to be busy as well. SO, seeing as they made their presence known in the Vixens of Pain’s Championship Celebration, Daniel and Audrey Russow have found themselves in the right place at the right time. So at Demon’s Run they will go up against the ...ahem...Vixens of Pain....

(Alexis rolls it around to where she has Audrey pinned to the mat and begins to bash her head into the mat. Haze smacks the ring mat a few times, yelling for her tag partner. The referee pulls Alexis off of Audrey and gives her a warning. Audrey gets to her feet and is watching while Alexis fights with the referee. At this point, Haze hops up on the apron and reaches out to try and grab Audrey by the hair! Before she could get a handful, Dan rushes over and pulls Haze down and the two begin to brawl!!! This catches the referees attention and he turns around. While attention is on that, Audrey grabs Alexis and rolls her up into a schoolboy!! The referee turns around and sees this, going to pin.)
1… KICKOUT!
(Alexis is able to wiggle her way out of the rollup, and looks at Audrey with more rage in her eyes. By this point, Haze and Dan are in an all-out brawl on the outside, as Audrey and Alexis battle it out in the ring. After a moment, the two in the ring look over at what’s going on on the outside, and decide to go help their partners. They slide out of the ring, Audrey pulling Dan away from Haze, and Alexis doing the same with Haze. But Haze shouts something, and that sets Audrey off, as she turns and slaps the HELL out of Heather, which causes the brawl to start all over again, this time all four in on it.)
JR Freeman: Did you happen to catch what Haze said that set Audrey off like that?
Alfonso Banks: Unfortunately, I didn’t. I couldn’t hear, but man did you see that slap? Whatever it was, it must have really pissed Audrey off.
(Inside the ring, the ref has no choice but to call for the end of the match, as it’s going to be thrown out, given the fact neither of the competitors really care about the match anymore, as all four are still in an all out brawl. Alexis and Dan are fighting, as Audrey and Haze are going at it. Haze manages to knock Audrey to the ground with a vicious right hand, as she goes to help out Alexis. The two girls start teaming up on Dan, before Audrey gets back to her feet and goes back after Haze. Haze sends Audrey into the ring post, as Audrey crumbles to the ground. Alexis manages to drive Dan into the barrier, as Haze starts looking for something under the ring.)
JR Freeman: What is she looking for?
Alfonso Banks: Who knows? I mean, I guess she does.
(Haze keeps looking under the ring….until...she finds it….
...a bottle of champagne. She stands up, smirking at Alexis, as she walks over to stand over Audrey. She takes out the cork, and goes to pour it over Audrey, but Dan knocks into Heather at the last second, and the bottle comes flying out of her hands, spilling some of the champagne on Audrey, but spilling more of it on Alexis as she catches it. Alexis makes a split-second decision, as she smirks, and grabs the bottle by the neck, and smashes it over Dan’s head!)
JR Freeman: OH MY GOD!
(The bottle shatters into a million pieces, as champagne goes flying everywhere. Dan immediately gets busted open by the broken glass, as blood starts dripping from above his eye, as the bottle seems to have just nearly missed his eye, hitting him in the temple. Audrey looks up, and sees her bloodied husband, and sees Alexis smirking at her handiwork, and this is like setting a bomb off, as Audrey flies into a hate-infused rage, as she LEAPS at Alexis, knocking her down, and raining down with STIFF punches. Haze manages to pull Audrey off of Alexis, but Audrey fights her off and goes back after Alexis. Dan tries to get Audrey off Alexis, but she still won’t have any of it, and breaks free from him, going back after Alexis.)
Alfonso Banks: Audrey is a mad woman!
JR Freeman: She’s incensed!
(FINALLY, security manages to make it to ringside, as they manage to get Audrey off of Alexis, and separate the four. Audrey is still screaming her lungs out at Alexis, filled with lots of...colorful...language. The show goes off the air witha final side-by-side shot of Alexis and Haze next to a shot of Dan and Audrey.)

PWS: APEX RIOT
February 9, 2021
(The cameras flicker to life in the back of the arena. All seems calm until the doors burst open and the Tag Team Champions, Alexis Makarios and Heather Haze, walk through with an insane amount of confidence on their faces. They were surrounded by 6 police officers, as a protective detail. Both are wearing the new “Vixens of Pain” t shirts, and the tag belts securely around their waists. After entering, the duo are followed in by a host of police officers, as they both smirk. They start to head into the building, when they stop, as the camera turns as we see Daniel and Audrey Russow walk up to the group.)
Audrey Russow: Look who finally decided to show up…
(As they start to walk up, two of the police officers with Alexis and Heather stop them from getting too close. Audrey and Dan look confused as Heather and Alexis both pull out some papers and hold them up.)
Heather Haze: You should probably stay back…
Alexis Makarios: Unless you want to spend some time behind bars… that is…
(Alexis and Heather both smirk and let out a cocky chuckle.)
Daniel Russow: What the hell are you on about?
(Alexis grins as she hands the paper in her hand to one of the cops, who hands it to Dan.)
Alexis Makarios: See, those are restraining orders against the two of you… and every single person associated with the Russow Clan.
Heather Haze: So for the entire night… you guys cannot come within 50 feet of us without getting arrested.
Audrey Russow: What a crock of shit…
Heather Haze: Oh, it isn’t to protect US…
Alexis Makarios: It’s to protect YOU. I mean… We all know how bad my anger can get. I would hate to see aaaaaaaanything get in the way of our match this weekend.
Heather Haze: So, basically, you’re welcome.
(Alexis and Heather look at each other with smug grins on their faces.)
Audrey Russow: You both DO realize that pulling this shit is just going to make the ass kicking we give you at Demon’s Run that much more brutal? Alexis, you MUST have a death wish, and I’m going to kick your head in so far you’ll go back to straight speaking Australian. You two little pieces of soul-crushing, insolent, vainglorious, whorebag slu-
(Daniel stops his wife.)
Daniel Russow: Look, I know you want to rip their heads off, but let’s walk away and let them have their petty little bullshit. We’ll get our chance at the pay-per-view.
(Audrey lets out a frustrated sigh, as she looks at Alexis and Heather.)
Audrey Russow: Fine….
(With that, Audrey turns and storms off, as Dan goes to follow her, but turns back to Alexis and Haze.)
Daniel Russow:...you know you fucked up, right? When I’M the voice of reason...you done fucked up. Hope you two know what you’re getting yourselves into.
(With that, he walks off, leaving Haze and Alexis looking at each other. Alexis’s face turns a bit from smug to a bit worried before the cameras cut away.)

PWS: APEX: RIOT
February 9, 2021
(The camera picks up at the parking lot where we find a livid Heather Haze screaming at the top of her lungs over her wrecked black Lexus RC F that was vandalized beyond any repair. The car was left with visible dent marks along with colorful graffitis spray painted all over. The windshield of the car and headlights were all smashed in while the rubber tires were viciously slashed in four different places.)
(Heather is on the verge of crying when the tow truck slowly starts to haul it away, taking it to the nearest impound while Alexis stands nearby, scolding and berating the two parking attendants along with a couple of security staff over their incompetence for allowing the property damage to take place on their watch.)
Heather Haze: This has Russow written all over it! I just damn know it! I’m gonna kill them!! They will payyy for this!!
(Heather says with every spite and venom filled words as she shakes her fist and grits her teeth. The camera then pans across the parking lot, as we see Daniel and Audrey Russow walking out to their car with their bags. Heather and Alexis see them and shout at them.)
Heather Haze: YOU TWO! YOU’RE GONNA PAY FOR THIS!
(Daniel and Audrey look at Haze and Alexis, then at the car, then at each other.)
Daniel Russow: It’s a real shame that happened to your vehicle...hopefully you got the insurance.
Audrey Russow: Guess that kinda thing happens when you’re both raging cunts.
Heather Haze: I’m gonna kill her….I’m gonna do it.
Audrey Russow: Nah uh uh...fifty feet, remember? Plus, we didn’t have anything to do with that. We’re leaving to get back to our daughter.
(Audrey gives a playful little smirk as her and Dan put their bags into their car.)
Daniel Russow: See you two at Demon’s Run.
(The Russows get into their car and drive off, as the camera zooms in, and we can see a middle finger sticking out the passenger window as Audrey Russow flips off their opponents for Demon’s Run. The camera pans back to Heather and Alexis.)
Alexis Makarios: RUSSOWS ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I HATE EVERYTHING RUSSOW!!!
Heather Haze: I hate those attention whores SO MUCH!! I swear to god…
(After the video package, we cut back to Tayna, who is shaking her head and smiling.)
Tayna Reihl: This match definitely is very personal. And both sides feel they are in the right. What do you guys think?
Marcus Cage: I’m just gonna jump in right here and say this. All 4 of these guys are very VERY angry people. I wouldn’t want to be on ANY of their bad sides. Think about it. You have a former porn star… a red headed aussie with anger issues… a Russow… and a momma bear. This can’t end well for ANYONE in that ring. I feel bad for the referees.. They should get hazard pay being out there for this one. It’s volatile and it’s gonna be nothing short of an explosion of anger and rage. Someone is gonna get hurt… That being said… I don’t think there is going to be ANY holding back and I wouldn’t be surprised if this match ends in a DQ or count out. It’s gonna get MESSY.
Josiah Cena: I think both teams are wanting to probe that they are the better team that they won’t let it end that way, as long as the ref has enough leniency to let them just go. It’s going to get brutal, don’t get me wrong, but I think they can show enough restraint to not let it get TOO out of hand.
Star Stormz: Really? A Russow...showing restraint?
Josiah Cena:...well, I mean...he WAS the voice of reason the other week...he stopped Audrey from going all psycho mama bear on Alexis.
Star Stormz: That’s the thing… I’ve known Audrey for a long time. She used to be much more… what’s the word… conservative. Things change when you have a kid, and I can attest to the fact of that. You get more protective over those you love, and that is exactly what has happened to Audrey. Her urge to protect is in hyperdrive, and Alexis is in the wrong place at the wrong time. But, that can also work against her if she isn’t able to keep things under control. We have seen what losing your cool in a match can do, it has cost Alexis a few times. You don’t think straight. And believe me when I say… seeing the roles reversed and DAN being the sensible one… that just doesn’t bode well for the Vixens of Pain.
Marcus Cage: Alexis and her anger issues have caused alot of pain for a lot of people. I’ve seen her end people’s careers just because they made her so mad she snapped. She has an unpredictable edge to her.
Tayna Reihl: This is the one match of the night that I honestly don’t know who would truly win. I honestly think that both teams are going to choose violence. That’s it. My prediction is blood and violence. What do you guys think?
Marcus Cage: I’m not quite sure… I can tell you who I think is going to be the “loser” in this scenario… and that’s poor Dan. He is stuck in the ring with three women who are angry and probably hormonal and just… all hell is going to break loose and I feel for the guy.
(This causes Star to kind of glance in his direction with a bit of a glare.)
Marcus Cage: WHAT? Women PMS and it doesn’t bode well for ANY man that has to deal with it! But in all seriousness… Dan has been chomping at the bit to get at Alexis for over a year now. Audrey has been seething and boiling. I hate to say this… but I gotta throw my prediction to the Russows…
(He looks straight into the camera)
Marcus Cage: Please don’t kill me, Lexi! Dan has been dangerous when he has been allowed to let loose. But he is MORE dangerous when he is able to stop and think before he acts. I don’t think I’ve said the words “Methodical” and “Russow” in the same sentence but… we are gonna go with it!
Josiah Cena: I mean...I agree that Dan and Audrey are coming for blood...but, if I have to pick a winner, and I know this won’t be a popular pick with my friends...but I think I have to give it to Alexis and Haze. Not for not, but Alexis is a PWS Hall of Famer, and her and Haze have been working really well as a tag team. Audrey has only had what? One match in the past five years? Plus, you add on the emotion of it all, and IF someone is going to get out of hand, I kinda feel Dan and Audrey are more likely to with everything. So, I gotta give the edge to Alexis and Haze.
Star Stormz: I’m torn on this one, to be honest. Both teams have history with each other. I think that Alexis and Haze are going to retain… but on a technicality. I predict that it’s going to be a disqualification or something… most likely both teams just beating the hell out of each other until the referee has to call it.
Tayna Reihl: Agreed. But for now, we’re going to send things backstage, as we’re going to send things to Alf and JR at ringside, as we have some in-ring action scheduled for the preshow, as the new tag team, The Society is taking on the team of Skip and MUD.
(As the countdown clock leading up to Demon's Run continues to countdown, the cameras cut to the backstage area where Ella Singleton and Jasmine Phillips is positioned. Ella notices the cameraman shooting her as she shoves him out of the way while grabbing the camera in her hand. Jasmine is smiling as Carter King is standing in the foreground.
Ella: What do we got here Jas?
(Jasmine pokes her head into the shot.)
Jasmine: It looks like we have two sexy women who is going to show the entire world why we should have been on the main show.
(Ella just laughs.)
Ella: Oh Jasmine, you know those two shitheads don't stand a chance against us. Hell, they couldn't even speak. It's going to be fun teaching them the way of the Society.
(Jasmine nods her head as Ella hands the camera to Carter. She then flicks her hand towards him.)
Ella: Get that thing away from me.
(Ella and Jasmine sits back down on their bench as the camera cuts away.)
Pre-Show Match
Tag Team Match
The Society vs Skip and MUD
(Before the bell even rings, Ella and Jasmine jump Skip and Mud to quickly get the upper hand on the two men. The referee tries to quickly get things under control by pushing Ella back to their corner after she gets a few more kicks in on Skip. Jasmine and Mud start the match off with some quick exchanges of chain wrestling, just as it seems like Mud is going to strike her, he stops himself and Jasmine takes advantage of it by kicking him in the knee, which trips his leg out and she follows up with a spike DDT.)
JR Freeman: So far so good from the Society. You can tell they were ready to get this match started, jumping Skip and Mud before the match.
Alfonso Banks: Gotta appreciate the aggression there from the newcomers. Let’s see if they can keep up with the momentum.
(Jasmine goes for the pin but Mud kicks out at 2, Mud tries to reach for the tag but he gets cut off by Ella who comes screaming across the ring, knocking Skip off the ring. In the meantime, Jasmine pulls Mud up to his feet and hooks him up with a Russian Leg Sweep and Ella comes off the ropes and nails him right in the face with a running Yakuza Kick as Jasmine completes her move and goes for the pin.)
JR Freeman: That’s Money Talks!
Alfonso Banks: That had to hurt!
1...
2...
Three!
Meg Reynolds: The winners of the match, Ella Singleton and Jasmine Phillips, THE SOCIETY!
Winners - The Society
(We cut away from ringside, as we rejoin the pre-show panel.)
Tayna Reihl: An impressive performance there from the Society.
Josiah Cena: Yeah, they looked great out there. It will be interesting to see where they can go from here, as we are really starting to build the tag division here.
Marcus Cage: Impressive debut for the Society. They are going to give the Tag Division quite a run for their money. And I know a thing or two about being in a successful tag team.
Star Stormz: Very impressive. I am excited to see what new flavor they can inject into the division.
Tayna Reihl: Well, let’s take a look at our next match we’re going to talk about, and this one...this one’s going to be violent, as it’s going to be a street fight between Bella Madison and Gracie Lopez.

(Nick and Eddie lock up in the center of the ring, with Nick backing Eddie into the corner. He breaks away, stepping back and allowing Eddie to come out of the corner. They lock up again, and do a test of strength, which Eddie gets the better of, before sweeping the leg, and delivering a quick leg drop. He gets back to his feet, and gets Nick back to his feet. The two start exchanging right hand shots, before Nick manages to block a right hand from Eddie, and delivers a big right hand that sends Eddie staggering. Eddie steadies himself against the ropes, but Nick charges with a clothesline, driving both men to the outside and down to the floor.)
JR Freeman: Ouch! A hard landing there for both guys. Hope they’re alright.
Alfonso Banks: Yeah that was a rough landing.
(The two get back to their feet, when suddenly, Eddie grabs Nick and sends him crashing into the ring post!)
JR Freeman: What the hell!?
Alfonso Banks: Eddie Lopez just sent Nick Madison crashing into the ring post right in front of us!
(Eddie’s demeanor has changed instantaneously. What was once an expression of respect and friendly competition has been replaced with one of malice, hatred, and disgust. He looks over at the time keeper’s area, grabbing the ring bell, as Nick gets back to his feet, as he blasts Nick over the head with the ring bell, causing the “DING” to echo throughout the arena, as the ref has no choice but to call for the disqualification.)
JR Freeman: What the hell, Eddie!?
Alfonso Banks: I….I don’t know!
Winner via disqualification - Nick and Bella Madison
(In the ring, Gracie and Bella have gotten back in, as they are both screaming at Eddie, asking what is going on. Suddenly, Bella is blasted from behind, by Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez, as her and Madison Carpenter slide into the ring, coming in through the crowd.)
JR Freeman: Now what the f-
Alfonso Banks: Language!
JR Freeman: Sue me! What the fuck is going on here!?
(Gracie turns as Jenn and Madison start kicking the downed Bella. She has a look of confusion on her face, as Jenn and Madison look at her. The look of confusion fades, as a devious smirk replaces it, as the three girls begin to attack Bella. On the outside, Nick and Eddie are brawling, as the fans are raining down with boos.)
JR Freeman: Was this all a damn set up!? Eddie and Gracie acting like they actually respected Nick and Bella, and now this shit! Someone needs to get out here! Somebody needs to stop this!
(As if on cue, the raining boos turn into a massive roar of cheers, as at the top of the ramp, we see a furious Laura Phoenix, waving her arms motioning, as Alanah O'Connell, Audrey Russow, and Cameron Russow are making a bee line straight to the ring, followed closely by security, who run around the ring to Nick and Eddie.)
JR Freeman: YES! The cavalry has arrived!
(As Alanah, Audrey, and Cam slide into the ring, Gracie, Madison, and Jenn exit the ring, as security bullrushes Nick and Eddie, breaking the brawl up between the two.)
JR Freeman: This is bullshit! We were having a damn good match and they had to ruin it! Why!?
Alfonso Banks: I’m sure they have their reasons.
(Eddie and Nick are pulled apart, as Eddie walks to the ramp and joins Grace, Madison, and Jenn. The four of them raise their hands, as Nick slides into the ring to check on Bella along with Alanah, Audrey, and Cam. Bella uses the ropes to sit up, as she shoots a GLARING look straight at Gracie, a completely different look in her eyes, as the show goes off the air with a side by side shot of Bella and Gracie, as the PWS: APEX logo flashes across the screen, and the show goes off the air.)

JR Freeman: What a match that was...and what a night of action we’ve had already.
Alfonso Banks: And to think, we still have our main event to come!
JR Freeman: Exactly! At this time...actually, I’m getting word we’re going to send things backstage as something seems to be going on. We have cameras trying to get to the scene.
(The cameras cut to the back, where we can see the cameraman running to catch up to a commotion. As the camera pans, we see broken tables, disheveled crates, papers thrown everywhere, before we get to the scene to find security pulling apart Gracie Lopez and Bella Madison, as the two are absolutely fuming, screaming at each other.)
JR Freeman: My God look at the damage they’ve caused back there!
Alfonso Banks: Certainly no love lost between those two.
(After a moment, Ambika Renton arrives on the scene to try and make some order of it all.)
Ambika Renton: Alright, you two wanna make this place your personal battleground? That’s fine, but you’re not going to just do it anytime you want. You’re going to settle this stuff between you at Demon’s Run, and just to make sure you get it all out of your systems, it’ll be a street fight!
(This seems to calm the two down a bit.)
Ambika Renton: BUT, until then, there is to be no physical contact from either of you, or there will be serious consequences. Do I make myself clear?
(They both nod, as Ambika turns to Gracie.)
Ambika Renton: That includes any of your crew or family, no attacks against Bella, I know how you guys are.
(Gracie gives Ambika a “What the hell?” expression.)
Gracie Lopez: Excuse me!?
(Ambika turns to Bella.)
Ambika Renton: The same goes for you and your crew, Bella. NO PHYSICAL CONTACT! Now, go your separate ways.
Bella Madison: Whatever...
(We cut back to ringside, as security sends both girls in their own direction.)
JR Freeman: WOW! What a match made for Demon’s Run! Gracie Lopez versus Bella Madison in a street fight. That is going to be brutal!
Alfonso Banks: Those two are going to beat the hell out of each other.
JR Freeman: You have to think Bella will be looking for some revenge on Gracie for what happened at the first show back.
Alfonso Banks: And Gracie will be looking to make a statement that the Madisons and Russows aren’t the only families with legacy in this company.

February 9, 2021
(Dawn gets Bella back to her feet and into position for the Dawson City Drop, but she hesitates for a split-second, and that gives Bella the opening to spin out of it, as she hits Dawn with the Whiplash!)
JR Freeman: Whiplash! That momentary hesitation by Dawn cost her! Bella usually follows this up with the Ashes to Ashes DDT.
Alfonso Banks: Dawn took her eye off the ball for a second, and she’s about to pay for it.
(Instead of getting Dawn back to her feet, Bella goes over to the turnbuckle and climbs up. She leaps off, nailing a Phoenix Splash to Dawn.)
JR Freeman: Oooo Second Gen! Tribute to her mother, Laura Phoenix!
(Bella gets into position and hooks the leg.)
1…
2…
3!!!
JR Freeman: And there we have it! Bella Madison gets the win. A great match, though.
Alfonso Banks: Yeah, but I guess the pressures of being in the main event were just too much for Dawn. Hopefully she doesn’t let this loss get to her too much.
Winner - Bella Madison
(Bella gets Dawn to her feet, as the two embrace each other. They share a few words, before breaking the hug, as Bella rolls out of the ring.)
JR Freeman: Dawn appears pretty emotional right now. She almost had this match won, so it must be a tough loss for her.
Alfonso Banks: Just goes to show how one tiny hesitation or mistake can change everything.
(Bella is making her way up the ramp, as Dawn is left looking defeated in the ring. She gives a wave to the crowd, but then...she’s attacked...from behind...by a lead pipe….
...wielded by Gracie Lopez!)
JR Freeman: What the hell!? Gracie Lopez!? I thought she was in LA!
Alfonso Banks: I thought so too!
(Bella turns around as Jennifer and Madison Carpenter get in between her and the ring, at the bottom of the ramp, as they start shouting at her, as Gracie starts to beat Dawn mercilessly with the lead pipe. Bella is SCREAMING at the top of her lungs for Gracie to stop, but Gracie has a smirk on her face as she continues the assault. At the bottom of the ramp, Jenn and Madison are yelling at Bella.)
Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez: You did this! This is on you!
Madison Carpenter: Her blood is on YOUR hands!
Bella Madison: I’m going to KILL you all!
Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez: Do it!
Madison Carpenter: Yeah! You know you wanna!
(Suddenly, Malachi comes sprinting out from the back down to Bella, as he starts holding her back.)
Malachi: That’s what they want. You can’t afford to lay a hand on them.
Bella Madison: I can’t just stand here!
(In the ring, Jenn and Madison have slid in two steel chairs to Gracie, who sets one on the mat, and moves a lifeless Dawn’s head onto it. She picks up the other chair and points at Bella.)
Gracie Lopez: This is YOUR fault!
JR Freeman: No! Gacie! Don’t do this!
Alfonso Banks: You’ve done enough! Message sent! Don’t do it!
(We see Laura Phoenix, Ambika Renton, and Josiah Cena all rush out onto the stage, as they bring a host of security with them, who start to rush the ring, but not before Gracie manages to smash the chair into Dawn’s skull against the other steel chair, sending a violent sound throughout the arena.)
JR Freeman: DAMNIT! We need help out here!
Alfonso Banks: Dawn’s hurt, JR. She’s hurt really bad!
JR Freeman: DAMN the bloody Lopezs! Dawn did NOTHING to deserve that! She was innocent in all this, and they showed the true scum of the earth that they are by this. I hope Bella absolutely obliterates Gracie at Demon’s Run!
Alfonso Banks: JR! We’re supposed to be unbiased!
JR Freeman: FUCK being unbiased! This is bullshit! We need to get the damn paramedics out here for Dawn. Thank God security finally got Gracie away from her.
(The paramedics rush into the ring to check on Dawn, as Gracie is escorted out of the ring by security. The final shot of the show is Gracie and Bella face to face, a few feet away from each other, as both have looks that could absolutely KILL, before the PWS: APEX logo flashes across the screen.)
JR Freeman: Folks, we’re out of time. Join us on February 23rd, where hopefully damn Gracie Lopez will get what’s coming to her!
(The show goes off the air with Gracie and Bella screaming at each other.)
(The camera cuts back to the panel.)
Tayna Reihl: So much bad blood in this one, it’s really become so personal. I think it’s safe to say the one thing we can guarantee in this match is plenty, plenty of violence.
Josiah Cena: I mean, both girls have their own reasons for their anger, justified in their minds. Gracie feels that the Madisons and Russows have this monopoly over PWS family legacy, whereas the Lopez’s are just as important to our company’s history, and she feels they’ve gotten the shaft, so to speak, when it comes to the record books and stuff. On the other hand, you’ve got Bella, who has really busted her ass for this company, and is a very proud member of the Madison family. When Gracie attacked her at the first show back, that hurt her...then when Gracie took Dawn Warren out, that just pissed her off. Bella is going to be out for blood in this match, and to be quite frank, she’s going to find it.
Tayna Reihl: You are looking at two women who were once upon a time real friends. Jack, Gracie, and Bella all grew up together, really was there for the glory days and you guys all know that the quote-unquote kids are looking to really notch their niche into PWS legacy.
Marcus Cage: In terms of next generation talent… it doesn’t get much better than these two. And the tempers are FLARING. We have seen that Bella truly has the “Phoenix” temper… and Gracie has inherited the “Lopez” instincts. Both of these young ladies are the future of this business, no doubt, and have huge shoes to fill with their family name. Gracie may have “turned her back” on Bella… but Gracie knows what she is doing and she must have felt she needed to for whatever reason. This battle is going to be so much more than just 2 ladies wrestling each other. There’s family honor on the line. With this one… I don’t know if I can pick a clear cut winner. I guess if I have to pick one, I’d could give the edge to Bella, only because I feel Bella has a little bit more experience in the ring. Sure, Gracie has been trained in the ring by names such as Jennifer Carpenter, Alexis Makarios, Eddie Lopez… Alexis and Eddie have been World Champions. Jenn has been a top notch Women's Champion. Bella has been trained by the entire Russow clan… I think this could be an issue of too many cooks in the kitchen and she could be all over the place. Bella has the experience… but Gracie has the refinement so I would have to give a slight edge to Gracie. But man… it’s not going to be easy.
Star Stormz: That’s very true. Both of these ladies are insanely talented, and have been trying to make their own name in the company and the business. It’s going to be a hell of a match, that’s for sure. But at the end of the day, I have to say I think that Bella might have a slight edge over Gracie. Both are determined and stubborn… but I see a little bit of that “I don’t care” attitude in Gracie that could cost her this match.
Tayna Reihl: Not only that but Bella has been almost looking for a reason to turn it up. She went on that slight losing streak but lately we have all seen changes in her. Gracie’s betrayal is adding fuel to that fire. BUT we know the Lopez’s, there are times they barely show their hand before getting into the ring. But once again...we’re not in for a regular match. It’s gonna be an all out street fight.
PWS: APEX PRESENTS DEMON'S RUN
March 17, 2020
Meg Reynolds YOUR SCORE IS NOW 3-3, MACK MCKANE BY SUBMISSION!!!
(...Malachi rolls out of Mack’s limp arm and sits up laughing as they’re both screaming bloody murder at him...as he cheekily flips them both off. All of a sudden over the PA system we hear…)
*Whistle*
(Star looks around confused and then slowly turns around and as soon as she does she gets nailed with a HELLACIOUS Kick To Damnation by PWS:Apex General Manager, LAURA PHOENIX!!! The fans go absolutely WILD as Star goes stiff and takes a NASTY bump off the stage as we hear thuds and cracks that sound assuredly like she took that bump wrong. There’s a loud “OOOOOH” in the arena as a “LA-URA PHOE-NIX!” chant goes up as she snarls down at the ground...then cracks her neck and crosses her arms staring a hole through Everett who’s holding up his hands until he hears a gentle throat clearing behind him...when he turns around he sees a waving Bella Madison who’s jumped out of the fans as he holds up his hands and she stalks him up the ramp and he dives into the fans running off as Mal nods his head smiling and he turns back to a doubled over Mack in the corner who’s confused as Hell.)
Meg Reynolds: 5 MINUTES REMAINING…
(They both walk towards each other slowly and stand up as straight as they can stretching out all the aches and pains looking at each other...as the fans chant “THIS IS AWESOME!!!” at the top of their lungs and both men nod in respect and bump fists...they lock-up...collar elbow...Mack with a headlock shooting Mal into the ropes into a tackle drop down…)
JR Freeman: Now that we’ve FINALLY got a fair match thanks to Laura Phoenix and young Bella...I’m not sure I agree with these men’s choice to go back to old school chain wrestling! There’s less than five minutes left in the match!!!
Alfonso Banks: And we MUST have a winner as decreed by David Shane himself!!!
(Both men start ramping it up until they’re just speeding into the ropes, leapfrogging each other until Mack stutter steps and when Mal pops back up from his drop down, Mack swings his body around him looking for the big crucifix pin bomb! HE NAILS IT!!!)
ONE!
TWO!
THRE-
MALACHI ROLLS BACKWARDS OUT OF IT!!!)
Meg Reynolds: 2 AND A HALF MINUTES REMAINING!!!
JR Freeman: OH MIOS DIOS WHAT POWER ARE WE SEEING FROM MALACHI ON DISPLAY RIGHT NOW!?
Alfonso Banks: HOW’S THIS EVEN POSSIBLE!?!?
(Malachi strains from a squat position to force himself back up standing with Mack still locked in the crucifix position on his back as he lets out a fierce roar and pops Mack up onto his shoulders!!! He looks square into the hard cam and screams “BYE-BYE!!!” and he flings him for Pure Malice!!! BUT MACK MCKANE FINDS A WAY TO SLIDE OUT THE BACK OF IT AS HE GRABS BOTH OF MALACHI’S ARMS AND WITH ALL THE STRENGTH HE HAS LEFT...HE HITS THE BLOOD EAGLE SWINGING SPINNING UNPRETTIER!!!)
Meg Reynolds: 30 SECONDS REMAINING!!!
(Mack is crawling with all his strength as the fans are counting down!! He BARELY flings a hand onto Malachi’s chest!!! It’s coming down to the wire!!!)
ONE!!!
FOUR!!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!!
...THREE!!!!!
TWO!!!
(THE BELL RINGS!!!)
ONE!!!
(The final buzzer goes off signaling the end of the hour!!! The entire arena is quiet as we see the referee confer with Meg Reynolds….everyone is on baited breath...Mack is on his knees looking, PLEADINGLY towards the referee…)
Meg Reynolds: Ladies and Gentlemen the referee has informed me...THAT THE PINFALL WAS IN REGULATION!!! YOUR WINNER BY PINFALL AT 4-3…
...AND...NEWWWWWWWW PWS APEX WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION...MACK MCCCCCCCCKAAAAAAAAAAANE!!!!!!!
(Mack’s head collapses in his hands as the fans are absolutely tearing the arena apart...Mack is visibly sobbing as Laura Phoenix applauds from the stage...JR Freeman and Alonso Banks are on their feet as well as Bella Madison slides into the ring to check on her fiance’ who sits up looking down defeated as Bella reassures him...he wipes the sweat from his face and scurries up to his feet falling against the ropes as the referee grabs the belt...Mack is still face down sobbing as Malachi RIPS the belt out of the referees hands...Mack sits up and he looks at Malachi...who walks over and kneels down in front of him...unfastening the back of the belt...and putting it over Mack’s shoulder...as they both suddenly throw themselves into a FIERCE embrace as the fans start a dual chant of “THIS IS WRESTLING!!!” and “BOTH THESE GUYS!!! BOTH THESE GUYS!!!” Mal pulls them both up to a standing position as the ring starts to fill...Mack takes Bella’s hand and gives it a kiss as he and Malachi give a playful “WATCH IT!” to each other and Mack turns around to a beaming Laura Phoenix who wraps him in a hug...and it’s not long before Levi Russow, Slappy McGoo, the entire clan swarms the ring to congratulate Mack)

PWS: APEX PRESENTS DISHONORED

JR Freeman: AMBIEN ALLEY!
Alfonso Banks: HERE WE GO!

JR Freeman: MY GOD...HOW DID SHE KICK OUTTA THAT!?
Alfonso Banks: Grit and determination, JR! She really is a BAD BITCH!
JR Freeman: ...I WOULDN’T let her hear YOU say that…
(Mack sits up, wiping his face, looking at the blood, then smearing it across his chest like war paint. He looks over at Sierra who is breathing heavily and nearly unconscious but still won’t give up. Mack...smiles. As he slowly gets up and dances his way to the top rope where he blows her a kiss and dives off for the Type O-Negative double stomp...AND HE MISSES! Sierra has tucked out of the way as Mack’s feet crash into the mat and he rolls forward. Before he can even turn around, Sierra has stomped on the back of his knee! She’s clutched him in a dragon sleeper position!)
JR Freeman: HERE IT IS, THE CALGARY CUTTER! IT’S ALL OVER!
Alfonso Banks: FINALLY! This match has made my stomach hurt!
(Sierra goes for the swing but is surprised when Mack limbos out of it and dances around behind her holding her arm across her chest. He whispers “Well met” in her ear before he spins her out and connects with a HELLACIOUS Memento Mori!)

PWS: APEX RIOT
January 26, 2021
Tayna Reihl: Indeed, now as for the PWS Champion, Mack McKane?
Ambika Renton: Ah yes, well it’s been sort of interesting to try and figure out who indeed deserves a number one contenders shot. Mack has been just amazing as our champion for almost a year, so now we’re looking as to what will be next for him and the first obvious choice is the man he beat for that title, someone who never got his rematch. And that is Malachi.
Tayna Reihl: WOW! So we’re about to get Mack vs. Malachi Part 3?
Ambika Renton: As I look at it, Malachi never got his rematch that he rightfully deserves.
(You hear a voice clear from just off camera that catches both Tayna and Ambika’s attention and as they turn they see General Manager Laura Phoenix step onto the screen.)
Laura Phoenix: Hey Ambika, Tayna. Sorry, I didn’t want to interrupt this announcement but...Ambika, I have to speak up.
Ambika Renton: By all means, Laura, please do.
(Laura takes a deep breath for a moment.)
Laura Phoenix: Look, I know you may think that I’m a little miffed at you for the whole not telling me about my husband facing off against Jack at Crusade. And I admit, for a couple of weeks I was but I got what you were doing and the fact that they are facing off again at Demon’s Run should be amazing. ALSO, I’m not saying that my son-in-law doesn’t deserve a true rematch after so long, and I feel horrible about him not getting that chance. But I feel like maybe we’re missing out on something big here.
(Ambika looks at Tayna a bit confused and then back to Laura.)
Ambika Renton: Go on.
Laura Phoenix: Well, the last few weeks Sierra Williams has really proven herself to be one of the top notch superstars in PWS. I have been thoroughly impressed with her performance as of late and I honestly believe that, while she did fail in her first attempt against Mack, that maybe that stumbling block was actually a jumping off point. She’s been amazing lately and I believe that she deserves another shot at the PWS Championship, and I believe it should be at Demon’s Run.
Ambika Renton: Well...what about Malachi?
Laura Phoenix: Like I said, Malachi does deserve his rematch, but I think making the PWS Championship a Triple Threat at Demon’s Run could be something truly spectacular.
(Ambika steps back for a moment and thinks.)
Ambika Renton: You know something, you’re right. Let’s make it happen.
Laura Phoenix: I’ll let them know. Thanks!
Ambika Renton: Thank you!
Tayna Reihl: And there we go, looks like Demon’s Run is going to be one hell of a show! Ambika, Laura, thank you for these great announcements and JR back to you an Alfonso!
(We come back to the panel one last time.)
Tayna Reihl: This one is gonna be big. Care to give your guys’ thoughts?
Josiah Cena: Mack McKane has been a great champion...hell, he’s been an outstanding competitor in his entire career here. To this day, he’s still undefeated. He’s really been on fire over the past year. To think, he won the title at Demon’s Run last year, and now to come back to the event, still holding on to the championship? That says something to his credibility as a champion. But, to be the first person to beat Mack would be absolutely HUGE for either Sierra or Malachi. Think of the full circle closure for Malachi it would be to take the title from the guy that took it from him one year ago? And for Sierra, how sweet would it be to play spoiler and walk out with the title?
Star Stormz: I couldn’t agree more. Whoever manages to beat Mack and take that title off him deserves MASSIVE bragging rights! But the question is… do we think it will happen tonight? I believe it truly could. Mack is in a different place than normal. This could be the end of his epic title reign.
Marcus Cage: Mack has in fact had an insanely impressive year with the title… and being undefeated so far in his entire career is something that is unheard of lately. He is crazy in that ring, and unpredictable. Malachi and Sierra have both failed so far to take that title off of him individually. But if they combine their talents… I think it’s completely possible that we will crown a new PWS: APEX World Champion tonight. And just think of the bragging rights that comes along with that!
Tayna Reihl: Fact remains that for the better part of two years, Mack has been untouchable. He was that way in the Collateral Damage division, he’s been that way as the World Champion for just shy of a year. BUT at the same time, the Mack we have all come to know and love really hasn’t been the same since his match with Bella. He has limited himself for some reason or another lately and that has been really odd. Tonight though, being across the ring with two top notch PWS Stars like Sierra and Malachi, I think we are going to see signs of the old Mack McKane. The one that will possibly retain that championship.
Josiah Cena: I sure hope we do see the old Mack McKane, as he was always great to watch. However, I just think tonight could be Malachi’s night. Think of the story it would be for him? To come back a year removed from losing the title, then to be the one to take the title off such a dominant champion, and the man that took the title from him? It practically writes itself. I know Sierra and Mack are going to have a LOT to say about it, but if you ask me, I think it’s Mal’s night tonight.
Star Stormz: Call me crazy… but I gotta root for Sierra. The woman is driven and clearly knows exactly what she wants. She is HUNGRY to call herself a World Champion. She wants it, and she is prepared for it. I have seen her trying so hard since she lost to Mack back at Dishonored in October… she has had her eyes set on one thing. Proving herself. And she isn’t going into this match half cocked… she is focused and prepared. Sierra Williams will walk out the new champion.
Marcus Cage: I’m gonna have to go with Malachi for the win tonight. I’ve had a few chats with him, and he is a man who is very focused… as long as my wife isn’t chasing him around with glitter…
(The panel let out a collective chuckle at the thought of Candy and Malachi.)
Marcus Cage: … Hey… it’s true. Have you SEEN that man’s eyes get big, like he just saw a ghost, anytime he sees my wife of hears her voice? But in all seriousness, my money is on Malachi for the win tonight. He’s the one who dethroned Alexis as champion… he’s been there. He knows. HE. KNOWS. What it’s like to have that belt around your waist and hoist it above your head. He knows that feeling… and trust me. He wants it back.
Tayna Reihl: Some great thoughts. Well, ladies and gentlemen, that’s going to do it for us here on the pre-show, as the time is up here for us, as up next, PWS: APEX presents Demon’s Run! We’ll be back at various points throughout the night, and we’ll see you then. Enjoy the show, everyone!
(The screen fades to black, before the ppv opening airs.)
