At a local gym in Las Vegas, Nevada it is there where we are able to see Dawn Warren. She has her long pink hair wrapped into a very loose pony tail. Her hair cascades down her back and she is dressed up in a small tank top and yoga pants. It isn’t long before we are able to see her brother, Teddy Warren walking into the gym. He smiles as he is carrying a duffel bag in his hands. He smiles as he looks over at his sister and can’t help but offer her a wicked grin.
“Hey sis…”
“Todd!!!!!”
She says warm heartedly as she quickly rushes over to where her brother is standing and gives him a long passionate hug. She squeezes the life out of him as she looks up into his eyes.
“I can’t believe you actually came…”
Teddy smiles as he looks down at his sister.
“Of course I did… I want to see my sister succeed and actually go on to achieve something big. I wouldn’t miss being here for the entire world. Now we have a lot of work to do and I want to see you take your career to the next level…”
Dawn smirks as she can’t help but grab him some more. She continues hugging him as she looks up into his eyes.
“You didn’t come alone did you?!”
Teddy shakes his head with a wicked chuckle.
“Well I definitely didn’t… I did bring you a sparring buddy… You might know her considering she is your sister in law…”
Dawn’s eyes light right up as she looks back at her brother.
“KATE?!?!?!?!”
Teddy sighs and it isn’t long before we can see somebody else walking into the gym. It’s a blonde and it happens to be none other than Cynthia Warren. Cindy slowly walks her way into the gym as she glances over at her sister in law.
“No time no see sister in law… You ready to get some training in?!”
Dawn just shrugs her shoulders as she looks back at her brother and doesn’t seem to be impressed.
“Seriously… Why couldn’t you just get Kate to train with me?! It would have been better and actually felt more efficient. Kate is like one of the best female wrestlers to have ever stepped foot into the ring. She could have really helped me kick things up a notch and I definitely would have been ready for whatever came my way…”
Cindy shrugs her shoulders as she looks right at Dawn.
“So what… I am not good enough?! I will have you know that I was the very first person from this family to even step foot inside of a wrestling ring. After me came your brother Jimmy and we basically were the pioneers for wrestling within the Warren family. If you didn’t have us pave the way there wouldn’t be a Kate let alone your brother Todd stepping into the ring…”
Teddy however shakes his head as he looks back at Dawn.
“Don’t let any of that discourage you Dawn. The only thing you need to be worried about is focusing on what you need to do as an individual to become a better wrestler. I believe in you Dawn… You always tried to follow in my footsteps whether it was becoming a Valedictorian or just achieving success. You always want to walk in my footsteps but I think you need to forge your own path into what you want to accomplish… Let me show you something…”
With that Teddy gives his sister his bag. She opens it up and smiles as she pulls his Internet Championship out of the bag. Her eyes light up as she looks at him.
“Oh my God your title is so super cool!!!”
“One day you will go on to have one of your all… You just need to push as hard as you can and you will get there… For now let’s just work on your training and get you ready for Kane…”
With that Dawn nods her head as she looks back at her sister in law and the two go to work.

August 30 During SCW’s Climax Control
The match had just ended, and the adrenaline was still coursing through his veins as Lachlan Kane burst through the backstage curtain, sweat drying on his skin as he pumped a fist in the air triumphantly. A few of the backstage crew smiled and a little applause broke out among them, and Lachlan gave a cheeky little bow as he headed down the steps into the hallways. Grabbing a towel from a pile on a nearby crate, he slung it around his shoulders as he made his way down the hall and to his locker room. When he opened the door and stepped inside, he was nearly tackled by his wife Sierra, who threw her arms around his neck and jumped into his arms.
“Oof!” he grunted, stumbling back a few steps and catching himself on the doorframe with one hand while he supported Sierra’s weight with the other. “Can I at least get in the room before you tackle me, woman?” he laughed.
She smiled at him, leaning in to press a kiss to his lips. “Now, that out there...THAT was the man I fell in love with back in Division. You were incredible, babe.”
A slight blush rose in Lachlan’s cheeks as he walked over to the couch, setting them both down so that she was sitting across his lap. “I gotta say, I did feel a little bit of that old fire come back. Made me remember just why I got into this business in the first place. Now, if only I can carry this over to a title win, I’d be set.”
“Well, there is that whole tournament over in PWS.”
“You mean, the one you’ve already qualified for and once I do, we’ll be facing each other for a chance at a World title? Gee, where have we seen this before?” Lachlan tapped a finger on his chin and looked thoughtful for a moment.
Sierra just rolled her eyes and pushed at his chest lightly. “At least this time, I can’t throw you off your game with my declaration of love in the middle of the match.”
“True. I think the only thing that could throw me off in this match is if you told me you were pregnant.”
This time, it was Sierra’s turn to look thoughtful, and Lach leveled a stern glare at her. “Don’t even think about it, lass.”
“Come on. Do you really think I’d be that stupid to get into the ring while pregnant?” she deadpanned.
“I mean, I know you’re all about competition and proving you’re the best...but yeah, I know you wouldn’t go that far.” He kissed her forehead and pulled her to his chest. “But let’s not think about that right now. I gotta get through this qualifier first. And I think this win tonight just gave me the kick in the arse I needed.”
Sierra smiled up at him, kissing his chin. “Good. Because yours is the only ass I want to kick to get another World title shot.”
He mock-glared at her for a moment, before quickly standing up and hefting her over his shoulder. She let out an indignant squeal as he collected his gear bag and headed out the locker room door and made his way through the hallways.
“LACHLAN! PUT ME DOWN!” she yelled, smacking at his back.
“Nope. Not until we get back to the hotel room so I can straighten out that smart mouth of yours, missy,” he laughed as he headed out the door to the parking garage.

Later That Night Las Vegas, Nevada
It was starting to become familiar and comfortable, almost like home. Staring out from the balcony of his Las Vegas hotel suite, his home away from home that he shared with his wife and two daughters, Lachlan Kane was starting to enjoy the nightly routine of sitting out in the cool night air and enjoying a drink or two while stargazing. He certainly had a lot on his mind this particular night, the excitement from his SCW win still buzzing in his body. But with that hurdle passed, he looked to the next one - his qualifying match in PWS for a chance in the Battle Royal for the opportunity at the World Title. Sierra had already qualified, as had Dickie Watson, Jack Russow and Cleo Phillips. The field was fast filling with incredible talent...and Lachlan was going to be the next name on that list.
Taking a drink from the glass in his hand, he gazed out across the neon landscape that was downtown Las Vegas, his blue eyes shining in the reflected light. “It’s amazing what getting back into the win column can do for a man’s confidence. I admit, I haven’t exactly been myself lately. Too much negativity taking up residence in my head, making me doubt my place in the wrestling world. But now, that’s all behind me. I’m back to being the Scrapper that you all know and love, and soon enough I’m going to be holding gold not only in SCW, but in PWS as well. Thanks to this little tournament to crown some new contenders to the belts. Of course, I have a qualifier to get through first, but if I’m being honest with you...I’d say my odds are pretty damn good. I’d even go so far as to say that if you’re the betting type...I’d put all your chips on me.”
A cheeky smirk graced his lips, only seen in profile as he was still gazing out across the cityscape. “Now Dawn, you seem like a sweet enough lass. Pretty enthusiastic, which is a good trait to have in this business. But the thing is, I’m just not sure you’re cut out to be a World Champion. You don’t seem to have that edge. That killer instinct. The drive to prove yourself night in and night out as the best this sport has to offer. Maybe someday, you’ll get there. But as of right now...you’re way out of your depth.”
He finally turned his head towards the camera and leveled a heated gaze towards the lens, the shadows throwing his face into sharp angles. “Me, on the other hand? I’ve been all over the world doing this. I’ve been a champion all across Europe, right into Japan. I’ve fought the best the world has to offer, and beat them all. I made my way to the US, and I’ve been lighting up marquees everywhere I go. It’s going to be no different here in PWS. I plan on being nothing less than the top star in this company, and this tournament is my path straight to the top. And I don’t plan on being derailed anytime soon. Especially not by someone who looks up to - of all things - a cartoon dog.”
He held back a little snicker, smoothing his face back into its look of fierce determination. “So like I said, maybe one day you’ll find yourself climbing the ladder of success. But as of Tuesday night, the only thing you’re going to find are a couple of boot prints in your chest, or maybe a dent in the top of your head once I spike you like a lawn dart. Good luck to you, lass. Because I can promise you...you’re gonna need it.”
He raised his glass up in a toast before finishing off its contents, looking back out across Las Vegas as the scene blurred out before fading to black.
