OOC: This is a joint roleplay between myself and Miss Puppies
(The scene fades up in the back of the arena. Richard Rider was talking to Carmen Fernandez.)
Rider: So, have you ever been with a movie star, an A list celebrity?
(Carmen looks disgusted as she crosses her arms.)
Carmen: I'm not here for you to flirt with, I'm here to interview you about your upcoming tag team match.
Rider: Oh, the one where I'm teamed up with the amazon who smells like beer and ass?
(A voice was heard coming from behind him)
Voice: Awe, that's so sweet.
(The voice startled Rider, causing him to jump out of his skin, and scream like a little girl. The voice was none other than Miss Puppies, who was grinning and had a chuckle going on.)
Rider: JESUS CHRIST!!! Don't do that!!!
Miss Puppies: Awe, I didn't mean to scare ya, Little Dicky.
Rider: Don't... call me that.
Miss Puppies: Oh come on, all good tag teams have nicknames for each other. It's like a pet name. I'll call you Little Dicky, and you can call me Sexy Momma
(Rider looks disgusted)
Rider: I am absolutely NOT calling you that. Ever. And we aren't a tag team.
Miss Puppies: But... I gave us a name already. Wanna hear it?
Rider: NO!
Carmen: I do.
(She smirks towards Rider, getting a kick out of him being so uncomfortable around Miss Puppies.)
Miss Puppies: Beauty and the Bitch. You're the beauty...
(She looks him up and down, he scowls.)
Miss Puppies: And I'm the bitch.
Rider: That is absolutely awful, I hate it. You should be ashamed.
Miss Puppies: It'll grow on ya.
Rider: I don't want ANYTHING to grow on me. This is a one time tag team match, I don't even understand why they put us on the same team. We are not a tag team, and that's that!
Miss Puppies: Oh, Im sure you'll change your mind after you see what I plan to do to Jennifer and Gracie. What exactly is the relation between those two again? Is Jenn Gracie's mom, because she must have some miracle anti-aging cream that I need to steal.
Carmen: No... Jenn married Gracie's dad, then they divorced.
Miss Puppies: OH! Ex step mom. That sounds like some shit I'd see on the Jerry Springer show.
Rider: Who watches Jerry Springer?
Miss Puppies: I DO! That bald guy, Steve... I'd do him.
(Rider looks absolutely grossed out as he cringes.)
Rider: I think I'm gonna lose my lunch.
Miss Puppies: Oh calm down Little Dicky. Can't have you getting sick before our big match.
Rider: So when we are out there, just stay out of my way. Don't cost me the match, and then we can go our separate ways.
Miss Puppies: We'll see about that. Tell ya what, we win this tag team match and I'll upgrade ya from Little Dicky to Big Dicky... how about that?
(She bounced her eyebrows up and down, suggestively. Rider looks more and more disgusted and uncomfortable. Carmen, however, is finding this hilarious.)
Rider: Can... can you not call me that. My name is RICHARD... not DICK.
Miss Puppies: Whatever you say, Dicky.
Rider: ITS RICHARD! RIIIIICHAAAARD!!!!
(He gets mad and storms off, leaving Puppies there with Carmen. Miss Puppies takes a step towards Carmen and smiles.)
Miss Puppies: Awe, he wants to play hide and go seek... guess I'm the seeker.
(She grins big.)
Miss Puppies: I'll give him a little head start.
Carmen: I... didn't get to ask you any questions about your match...
Miss Puppies: Well, lets just say the BIG GUNS are coming out to play.
(She grabs her boobs when she emphasizes "BIG GUNS".)
Miss Puppies: Jenn an Gracie and their little dysfuntcional family thing don't stand a chance. Just you wait and see. Now, if you'll excuse me. I gotta go find my Dicky.
(With that she smirks and walks out of the scene, sending the cameras fading to black.)

Post by Gracie Lopez on Jan 10, 2020 23:50:32 GMT -5
January 2nd, 2020.
After the holidays.
(Holidays have come and gone in the Lopez household and yet, the Lopez compound is still clean. Mostly because the new year’s party happened at Eddie Lopez’s house, instead of Gracie’s. Gracie is seen laying on the couch trying to relax after the football game, the rose bowl, that she went to the day before. It’s the same game that Kayla had to work at as well. Gracie is seen playing some solo Red dead redemption stuff online, with her highly competitive skill, it’s hardly quiet. She yells at randoms on her headset. That was until she saw Kayla in the corner of her eye. Kayla walks by.)
Gracie: Just the person I wanted to see.
(Gracie turns the game off as she motions for Kayla to sit on the couch with her, Kayla nods her head but first, she went to get a bottle of water from the fridge then she made way to the couch before finally sitting down.)
Gracie: We haven’t had much time to talk one one one since my family was here and all, what’d you think of them? How was your first Christmas here?
Kayla: It was…. Different.
Gracie: Different?
Kayla: Yeah, last year I was alone but that’s because I just moved to LA 3 days before Christmas. So, I didn’t really get time to know anybody. But this year I really enjoyed myself. Everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves too. I didn’t realize how big your family was.
Gracie: That wasn’t even all of them.
Kayla: Oh….
Gracie: Yeahhhhh…
Kayla: That redhead is crazy….
(Gracie lets out a small sigh.)
Gracie: That’s my redhead….
Kayla: She’s a Psycho! I mean that in a good way of course.
Gracie: Course. But she’s my psycho.
Kayla: Does she always act like that when she’s drunk?
Gracie: She’s worse than that, what you saw was tamed. Usually, she tries to set things on fire. I remember hearing stories that she tried to burn down a bar and she tried to reenact coyote ugly. … It was a nasty scene. I feel bad for my dad tho... He has to put up with it sometimes.
(The look of a blank stare mixed with confusion sat in on Kayla’s face. She’s just now realizing what she got herself into becoming friends and moving in with Gracie. But at the same time, she wouldn’t change it for the world. She loves this type of family togetherness and randomness.)
Kayla: I uh…. Not sure how to respond to that.
Gracie: Trust me… we do a lot of random stuff, but we have fun doing it. You’ve seen nothing yet.
Kayla: I’m looking forward to any of the crazy stuff you guys have planned.
Gracie: Oh, we don’t plan it. It just happens. You….also have a wild side, so you’re going to fit in nicely!
Kayla: shhh!!
Gracie: Well you do!
Kayla: I won’t do Coyote ugly tho!
Gracie: ….. Riiiight. I’ll be there with my phone when you do. I’ll even post it on your youtube account. “Kayla does Coyote ugly wrong”
Kayla: Stop it!
(Gracie giggles at her friend getting tense for no reason. But, that’s the type of friendship they have. They rag on each other almost on a daily basis, and it never leads to a fight.)
Kayla: if you do that, then I’ll bring up how you ran around the MGM in a bathrobe while you were drunk on your 21st birthday.
(Gracie’s jaw dropped a bit.)
Gracie: You wouldn’t. That’s blackmail!
Kayla: Try me Lopez….TRY ME!
Gracie: You evil little….
(Kayla stands there not phased by her friend before a smirk comes across her face. Gracie couldn’t help but laugh too.)
Gracie: …. I like you. You’re fun.
Kayla: Ha! By the way, don’t look for anything to cook for dinner. I ordered a pizza for us. I know you and the cook cooked all week last week, I thought I’d give you a break.
Gracie: Are you trying to get on my good side?
Kayla: Yes.
Gracie: Thought so.
Kayla: When are we leaving for new york?
Gracie: In a couple of days, gotta make sure the plane is ready and all that. Are you excited?
Kayla: Just to get out of town, yeah. I know you wanted to go hit the slopes for more than one day, but it didn’t happen.
Gracie: I was going too, but chains were required and I didn’t wanna take the chance.
Kayla: Smart not too.
(Just then the doorbell rings for the house, Kayla is the one to answer the door. The person at the door happens to be the pizza delivery man. Kayla pays the man, grabs the pizza and closes the door behind her. The scene comes to a close with the girls eating.)
Present-day 2020
New year, same opponents
(The scene opens up in New York, It’s a warm winters day… because winter is weird this year for some reason. People are seen walking the streets in windbreakers instead of heavy coats and mittens. We see Jenn and Kayla standing outside of a local restaurant waiting for Gracie to show up. Jenn looks at her Apple watch for a second before looking around again.)
Jenn: I wonder where she’s at? She’s never late. When you mention food, she always shows up.
Kayla: No idea. I knocked on her door, but I didn’t get an answer. Maybe she took a walk?
Jenn: Could very well be. I know she has a lot of stuff on her mind as of late.
Kayla: While we wait for her, can i ask for you something?
Jenn: Sure.
Kayla: How was your first Christmas with your sister?
Jenn: It was fun to bond with her and get to know her more. Distance is gonna be a pain since she lives mainly in Miami but I guess it just makes it worth it when we do get together. I know she has a life in Miami, so I don’t want to get in the way of it.
Kayla: I’m glad that you guys found each other and getting to bond. It’s tough when you’re out of state with your siblings. I know that very well. Most of my brothers live in Texas. Shattered all of the place, so it makes it hard to get all of us together.
Jenn: At least you and I are in the same boat on that one. I have a question for you….
Kayla: K.
Jenn: You looking to become a wrestler or something?
Kayla: Wrestler, no…
Jenn: Maybe a manager role could fit you. I mean you like to talk. You can still do your photography work here too. There’s 2 of them running around, a 3rd one wouldn’t hurt. But it’s something we can talk about at a later date.
(That was when Gracie showed up. She has a coffee stain down her right shoulder and it goes down her back as well. Jenn and Kayla look at her with raised eyebrows on each person. They’re wondering what kind of tomfoolery she was part of.)
Jenn: … I’m not even going to ask.
Gracie: Well, I met a fan and took a picture with them. I think someone else got jealous, refused to talk to me and threw coffee at me… I guess it’s welcome back to new york! I’m in town less than a day and someone’s already pissed off at me.
(Gracie shrugs her shoulders, not giving a care in a world if people like her or not.)
Kayla: Did you want to go back to the hotel and change?
Gracie: Nah, if I’m going to smell like coffee, EVERYBODY else will. I don’t give a shit. Plus, I’m hungry.
(Gracie is the first one to enter the sit-down restaurant. At the first desk, she asks for a table for 3, and it doesn’t take long before the 3 of them are seated in a booth. The girls on the end, across from each other with Jenn on the end. Since Gracie has the whole bench to herself, she stretches out a bit.)
Kayla: You guys ready for the tag match?
Jenn: I am. I’m ready to rip someone’s head off and kick it down the street. I’ve been sitting too damn long and I’m bored with it. I’m bored of just sitting around and doing nothing all the time. Now when the company decides what to do with me, Gracie and I are facing a couple of comedy geeks who would won’t amount to anything in the wrestling business, Sure, Puppies is a former champion, but what the hell has that other guy done? He’s just a poor man’s drake Demarco.
Gracie: Dick?
Jenn: Whatever he calls himself today.
Gracie: The dude is a clown. He walks around claiming to be a ladies man when he’s clearly not. I’ve seen women run away from him as soon as they approach him.
Kayla: I don’t even find him that attractive if I’m honest about it. I wouldn’t go out of my way to take a picture with him or anything. I tend to stay away from creeps like him.
(Gracie snaps her head towards Kayla, she wasn’t ready for that sentence she just said.)
Gracie: Look at you talking smack…. Where is this coming from!?
Kayla: I uh… I’m sorry?
Gracie: Oh, there’s no turning back now.
(Jenn smiles, it’s pretty much all she does at this point. She shook her head slightly.)
Jenn: anyway, back on subject. I don’t see Dick being involved in this match for long. I mean, he’s facing 2 former champions. We’re going to run circles around him. It’s going to look like amateur hour. You’ve beaten him before, he couldn’t hang with you. He tried to turn that match into comedy but you shut it down quick.
Gracie: I wasn’t going to turn that match into a circus. It’s going to happen to this match too. I refuse to let it turn into a circus. I’m not going to let someone like him make a name off of me. It’s not going to happen. You know how people say “I’m not ready” for anything…. That’s how I feel about that clown. He’s not ready for anything at all.
Jenn: I’m not going to let him breathe either. I have a lot of frustrations to take out and his face happens to be the most punchable in the face. I can’t wait to feel his bones break under my fists.
Gracie: I’m done talking about him, let’s move to Puppies….
Kayla: Puppies?
Gracie: Let’s just say… she’s…. I’m not sure how to describe her.
Jenn: She’s has a few bolts loose in her head.
Kayla: Why do they call her Miss Puppies.
Gracie: You…. you don’t really wanna know.
Jenn: Let’s just say she’s known for doing a lot of… disgusting stuff. One time she….
Gracie: No, no. We’re in a restaurant. I know what you’re about to say…. We’ll just show her video on what Puppies is known to do. It’s just… wrong in so many ways.
Kayla: You know, I’m sorry I asked! I don’t wanna see what she’s known for….
Gracie: Good. It’s what nightmares of made from.
Jenn: Anywayyyyy…. Let’s talk about her.
Gracie: Let’s. It seems that everywhere we go, no matter what the fed, she’s there. It’s like she’s stalking us.
(Jenn shudders.)
Gracie: Jenn brought up a good point earlier with Puppies. She may be a disgusting person but she has held some gold in the past… but that’s the keyword. The past. She hasn’t done anything since those days of being champion. She treats everything like a joke, all in the attempt to get the “giggles” from fans. Honestly? I can sit here and run her down but over the past 3 years, I’ve ran out of stuff to say about her and I don’t feel like repeating myself. If you want to see me insult her, watch some old tapes.
Jenn: I’m the same way. 10 years of insults… it gets old after a while. Yes, I get she’s a former champion, but as you said, she hasn’t done anything relevant since…. 2015? Why even wrestle if you 5 years without doing anything, doesn’t make sense.
(Kayla looks at the menu, listening to the girls talk about their upcoming match. She also looks around the restaurant to see how crowded it is, which explains why the waiter hasn’t shown up yet.)
Gracie: Rider and Puppies, they’re gonna have a miserable stay here in NYC, and they’re not going to have their MSG moment. I will not allow that to happen.
Jenn: Neither will us. You and I are angry…. And it’s… gonna be a rough time for them.
Gracie: Where’s the waiter!?
Kayla: The place is packed. Like…. It’s really packed. But it seems like you guys have this match on lockdown.
Jenn: Pretty much. Yeah.
(After a while, the waiter starts shows up and takes the girls orders finally. The girls start to discuss stuff that isn’t related to the subject at hand, more like family time talk. The scene comes to a close.)
