Name: Eddie Lopez
Height: 6’3
Weight: 260
Bio: Eddie Lopez was a pro wrestler for his entire life. For 21 years, he wrestled around the world, at PWS then at PWSWF and then finally at name redacted. In those 21 years of wrestling, he picked up a lot of championships as well as respect from his peers. In 2018, he decided to hang up the boots because his knees were giving him problems, and he felt as an in-ring wrestler that he wasn’t at his best, and slowing down. Since his retirement, he’s been doing some training with wrestlers, but he spends most of his time now, golfing and fishing. Does he want to return to wrestling one day? Never say never, but it’ll take a lot to do so.
Eddie has one daughter, that daughter being Gracie Lopez. She is an active wrestler too. One time ago before he retired, they teamed up before and he was excited to have teamed with her. He stood outside of the ring and let her do all of the work, he wanted to see what she would do with pressure and it worked. He has a hand in training her and watched her blossom into a star that she is today. Despite people trying to say that he helps get her special treatment. He has nothing to do with what she does in the ring or how they book her.
He was married to Jennifer Carpenter Lopez, but that soon turned into a divorce. However, it wasn’t a messy divorce like some divorces are. They still remain friends, best friends even. They’re also very open as to why the marriage died out. No, nobody cheated or any of that stupid shit. They just couldn’t get it to work, even a marriage counselor couldn’t get to work either.
Why is he in PWS Apex you may ask? That’s simple, really. He’s here to help train the next generation of wrestlers. He’s hoping to pass on his knowledge of wrestling and help them achieve their dreams. Will he show up on weekly TV? Every once in awhile he’ll show up and cause chaos.
He is a proud member of the PWS hall of fame as well.
Note: Eddie isn’t as moveable as he used to be, so he uses his veteran skills to work the match. He will NOT fly around the ring, but he will for very limited moves such as the frog splash.
