Hey guys, after much discussion and thought we are going to be making a change in our format. As you guys know, our shows have been consistantly a day or two late lately, and that is because we have 3 people writing 4-6 matches every show. It's just myself, Manny, and David writing matches on a regular basis. So we are going to be switching to a Summarized results format starting next show. What kind of change does that mean for you guys?
1: This will only affect weekly Riot shows. PPVs and special events will not be affected
2: Instead of the Riot matches being full written out matches with commentary, they will be a summarized paragraph of about 300 words, with pre and post match commentary (unless something big is happening in a storyline and that needs to be written out.) Segments will not be affected, either.
3: Main Event matches will be fully written out still. With this change, we will be trying to rotate who is in the main event a little bit better.
4: This will make PPVs and Special Events - such as our Red, White, and Bruised 4th of July special - feel that much more special with all the extra attention they will be getting. And as it will keep our match writers from getting burnt out, you can expect the same quality at our bigger shows!
5: This will give you guys faster results. As we have decided to change deadline day to Wednesday's instead of Tuesday's... we are going from 3 days to put together a show to 2 days. So this will help us to keep the shows on time.
So there ya have it. Sorry if this new format upsets you, but seeing as we are having a hard time finding full time match writers, we really don't have much choice. We want to keep giving you guys quality shows! This is how we will accomplish this.
