::SCENE ONE:: HOT NEW ARRIVAL **A posh black Ferrari is shown pulling into parking lot with loud music blasting from the inside. The engine is cut and seconds later, the door opens as Heather Haze steps out sporting a black top and a pair of black booty shorts. She looks around before leaning inside the car and grabbing a few bags.** Man: Excuse me, Miss! Do you have a moment?
**Heather Haze stops and looks around as she sees Daniel Clark rush towards her with a microphone in his hand.**
Heather Haze: Yeah listen my luggage is in the back, so make yourself useful and bring everything to my locker room. If nothing is damage or missing than there might be a nice tip for you afterwards.
Daniel Clarke: No...No, sorry. I'm not...well actually I’m the interviewer for APEX. I was wondering if you had a few minute....
Heather Haze: Wait a second, you? You're the interview for APEX? You're the one who is supposed to be asking me all the hard hitting questions. You're the guy who is supposed to get the biggest and latest scoop for the company?
Daniel Clarke: That would be me alright. So like I said I was just wondering...
Heather Haze: No, I don't think so. Listen this is how things are going to go down. You're going to get my luggage and bring everything to my locker. I'm going out to that ring to tell the world exactly why I'm here. If and only IF I'm in a good mood afterwards, will you get an interview with me. Do I make myself clear?
Daniel Clarke: I guess so?
Heather Haze: You guess so? Great start for you...just do what you’re told.
**Heather shakes her head, leaving Daniel Clarke in the parking garage as she starts to make her long journey to the ring.**
::MOMENTS LATER::
**The house lights in the arena dim as pyro shoots up from both sides of the ramp. The crowd gets on their feet in anticipation of who is about to come out as I Wanna Be Bad by Willa Holland hits the speakers. Soon, Heather steps out onto the stage and stops, putting her hands on her hips and looking around.**
JR Freeman: Welcome back everyone, and it looks like the newly signed Heather Haze will be joining us, as she’s got a few things to say.
Alfonso Banks: Oh baby...this night just keeps getting better.
JR Freeman: Well fonzy I’ll be as professional as I can at ringside...but by all means please take your chin up off the desk...we have a job to do here.
**Heather then shakes her head before beginning to walk down towards the ramp. Guys stare at her, giving cat calls as she walks by but Heather completely blows them off. She then climbs up the steps and walks over to the opposite side to get a microphone from the ring announcer. The lights return to normal as the music dies down.**
Heather Haze: Aright. Y'all need to listen and listen up good because quite frankly, I'm not one you want to ignore. My name is Heather Haze. Bad Bitch Extraordinaire. And I've been in this business for the better part of three years. I've been wrestling all over the country so I'm pretty well known, and known that I'm not someone to be taken lightly. Now, some of you who are into the indy scene may know of me, but I'm sure most of you don't. And that's fine, really. Cause whatever I have done in the past is in the past. The newest chapter of my career starts right here in APEX-PWS. That's a fact. However, I'm not one to come in here and rip the roster to shreds with insults and all that shit. I don't get up in everyone else's business. Anybody here have a problem with me, then they can take it up with me and then I'll rip THEM to shreds. But until then, I'll just say I got a problem with everyone here to just get the ball rolling. I'm not gonna go up and down the list of all these no name hacks and waste my time insulting them, but I'll just make it clear that I'm open to anybody's challenge. If you're a girl and want a reason to quit this place, then come to me and I'll give you more than a scapegoat, I'll give you a *beep* hospital bed to be spending the rest of your pathetic life in. If you're a guy and just want to feel what it's like to get beaten by a girl, I'm the one to come to for that. See, you may think by looking at me that I'd be harmless, but I'll tell you right now that I'm the perfect way to prove the fact that looks are in fact quite deceiving. You can ask anybody in any federation that I've worked in before that I am THE toughest, meanest, nastiest bitch anybody's been up against. I have quite the track record. I've won a majority of my matches. I've done it all. And I'll do it all here. Which of course leads me to my opponent at the upcoming Riot show. Alanah O'Connell. Now Alanah, I'm gonna be real honest with you here. I don't know a damn thing about you...nor do I care to actually get to know you. To be honest, I'm a very busy woman. I don't have time to watch tape of every single wrestler in this company. I don't have time looking for someone that deserves to be in the same ring with me. I can only trust that PWS management does the right thing and puts me in the matches I deserve to be in. No matter who I'm facing though you can be sure of this. It will be a 5 star quality match, and it will be another win for me. It doesn't matter who I face because the outcome will always be the same with me getting my hand raised. Now you might not like the truth and you might not want to hear the truth. But that’s not my problem, that’s not my concern. I don't care what you think of me. I don't care if you love me, or you hate me. The only thing for sure though is that you won't forget me. I've done a lot of things in my career. From beating people in the middle of that ring, to taking championships that didn't belong to those around me. Heck I've made people run away with their tail tucked between their legs because they didn't like the truth that I had to offer them. They didn't like me exposing them for the fakes and the frauds that they were. People don't like a woman that can do it all and say it all but that's too damn bad. I'm the most real thing in this company and I'm the best at what I do. This isn't a shoot or a pipe bomb. This is simply Heather Haze making a debut like only I can. This is Heather Haze laying down the foundation of everything I'm about to build in this company. It all starts tonight; it all starts with this match. It all starts with Heather Haze...The Chosen One of the APEX.
**The fans are all over Heather at this point as the loud deafening boos echo throughout the arena.**
Heather Haze: Yeah, Boo me all you like. I don't really care. O and before I go...one last thing.
**Heather reaches into her pocket and pulls out some paperwork. The camera tries to get a good view and it appears to be some sort of contract.**
Heather Haze:
This right here is the paperwork that I signed to become an APEX Superstar. It lists all of my information; it lists all of my credentials including how many events I will be working this year. It also includes my salary that I'll be earning. Now Stormz...Shane...Manny...or whoever is in charge. I have no doubt that you are listening and I want to you to get a little closer to your 60 inch TV and watch very closely. You see I don't need your money...but I want your money. The salary on this contract is well beyond what you paid anyone else who has joined this company for the first time. Its money that could make any superstar in that dressing room very happy and very wealthy. The problem though is that this isn't Heather Haze money. What is "Heather Haze Money" is the kind of cash I'll be taking home when I win a championship belt around here. The kind of money that I'll be making when I win the APEX World Championship. This money though...this money for this contract. This contract is going up in flames...just like the career of a one Alanah O'Connell whom I'll be making an example off when I face her this Friday at the Barclay Center ... **Heather then reaches into her shorts and pulls out a lighter. She sets the contract on fire and lets it burn in the middle of the ring as the fans watch in shock. "I Wanna Be Bad" then begins to play over the speakers as Heather then tosses the mic back over to the ring announcer.** **Heather then climbs out of the ring and walks up the ramp, stopping at the top to look out on the crowd once again, before walking backstage with a smirk on her face as workers rush past her to put out the flames.** ::SCENE TWO:: **The scene reopens up inside the private dressing room of the wickedly beautiful Heather Haze as she is shown posing in front of her tall mirror in just a skimpy white lace bra and panties. There’s an open lotion bottle sitting on the table to her right as she runs her fingers down her long waving hair before averting her eyes to the camera that’s filming her to speak her mind.** Heather Haze: When I was little girl growing up I knew I was gonna be someone special. I had dreams, ambition of making it big... even if they went against my deadbeat grandparents and their wishes. They always thought of me as their imperfect grandchild... they wanted me to act like this, be like this, do this, do that….yada yada yada. Maybe they'd be more pleased if I was the Alanah O'Connell type with that perky, optimistic approach on life. Reality is Alanah this is a cold, harsh world we live in which you know nothing of! This world will swallow you up and spit you right back out. This isn’t a world of sunshine, pretty little flowers, or unicorns or tweeting out cute little pictures of your pets. Just a world filled with scum bags, the bottom feeders, the opportunists, ready to stab you in the back in a heartbeat. The name of the game is survival, hun. Screw loved ones...Screw family...Screw everybody you depend on cause they are just gonna hold you back...they are just gonna weigh you down...but if you want to be break free from the norm...you gotta step up the plate and use a carving knife that’s big enough and that’s gonna stick. See I didn’t get by being all nice and miss goodie-two-shoes. Being nice is overrated and an overkill. Trust me when I say that being 'nice' doesn't really get you anywhere. I have always been one to not sugar coat or mince my words. I have always stood for truth and honesty. So when I say the things I say I ain’t lyin, hun. I have seen things, done plenty of shady things that would warrant me to spend an eternity in Hell. And I am perfectly OK with that cause as long it benefits me in the long run 'nice' girls like you are just my little play toys, a means to an end. I’ve stepped on people's toes to get to the top. I have stabbed people right in the back and laughed about it. I have crippled, and brutalized people that got in my way from reaching my goals. And you are no different than any of the rest of them. While you can train your ass all day long at some dirty ass rundown dojo for our match, I know exactly what I am capable of to hurt you in many more ways than one. It is not about exemplifying true wrestling talent and skill that you have acquired by practicing Hapkido or from Levi Russo's wrestling school. It’s not about making people stare at you in total shock because you did an unbelievable thing in the ring. It’s all about making your opponents and future competition tremble in fear when they see your name! Alanah, you think you don’t fear me, but YOU will fear me, sweetie. You’re going to fear me because I intend to use my experience and my vastly superior wrestling skill sets to break you in half, which I will. Bottom line is I plan on beating you Alanah O'Connell, I plan on crushing you in that ring and I plan on pinning your shoulders to the mat on your first night here. It won't take me long to do any of that, I promise you that Alanah and I promise the fans that as well. I will beat you, I will win my debut match and my hand will be raised at Riot. The Doubters will be Silenced. The Haters will be Quieted. And the believers of Heather Haze will be rewarded. This is my time, this is my company and this is just the beginning of things to come. This isn't the end of story, this is just the beginning. But for you Alanah O'Connell this story...this game.....it all comes to an end for you at Riot! **Heather ends her thoughts abruptly, humming to herself while fluffing her hair over both sides of her shoulder. Just then a knock is heard coming at the door. Heather looks at the door as she rolls her eyes and yells "I'm Busssyy". The knocks continue to get louder against the door. Heather shakes her head and opens the door to see a young, clean cut management type man in his mid 20's standing there. His eyes widen as he sees that Heather is hardly wearing much of anything.** Road Agent: Would you mind putting on some clothes...
Heather Haze: Do you know what’s interesting? Your brain and your job are telling you to say one thing. But your heart and those lovely set of blue eyes are telling me something much different. Which one is it, sweetie?
Road Agent: I don't think this is the time or the place for...
Heather Haze: No your right, this is a very professional atmosphere and I would hate to get you in trouble. So why may I ask are you here? O...and my eyes are up here.
**The man clears his throat**
Road Agent: I come from the office of David Shane and Star Stormz who are furious that you decided to burn your contract like that in front of the crowd.
**Heather snickers, shaking her head.**
Heather Haze: O I bet they are.
Road Agent: What were you possibly thinking?!
Heather Haze: Reelllax hun..... before you wind up giving yourself a heart attack.
**Heather heads back inside her dressing room. Going through her stuff where she pulls out another contract. She flashes it in front of him, showing that it’s the real contract.**
Heather Haze: Satisfied? I'm not stupid enough to burn my own contract. But everything I said out there I meant every word of it. I'm not some gal who is going to open up the shows. I did that for a few years when I started wrestling and it was a blast. But I've grown up and moved past that. I'm not just another superstar joining this company; I'm THE superstar in this place. The sooner management realizes that, the better this place will be.
Road Agent: And you think telling Mr. Shane and Ms. Stormz what to do is going to get you there?
Heather Haze: I'm not telling them to do anything. Apart from offering them a friendly advice to run this federation the right way and to make sure that things run smoothly. Unlike Triple H I'm not "best for business" I AM the business and depending on how I get treated will depend on how the business runs. I just want it to run the right way and I hope David Shane and Star Stormz feels the same way.
Road Agent: I will be sure to pass that message onto them.
Heather Haze: You be sure to do just that. O and if you ever need to talk to me about anything else, or discuss some business after hours...you be sure to give me a call OK?
**Heather totally flirts with the guy, licking her lips at him in a seductive way. The man doesn't say anything further but instead leaves quietly as Heather closes the door behind her and stares up at the ceiling. A giant smile grows on her face as she moves over to the couch and takes a seat, resting her head back.**
Heather Haze: ...god I love this business...
**The scene begins to fade out, leaving Heather Haze alone in her locker room as she gets ready for her first week and first match in APEX-PWS.**

February 2019
“Lanah...are you sure this is something you want to do?”
Alanah O’Connell sighed, chewing on her bottom lip as she stared at her phone. The image of her oldest brother Lachlan stared back at her, a slightly concerned expression on his face. “For the last time Lachy, yes. I want to understand what it is about wrestling that’s got you hooked on it.”
He chuckled a little, though the concern never left his blue eyes. “It’s hard to explain. It’s not easy, that’s for sure. You go through a hell of a lot of pain...but the adrenaline rush is worth it. At least, it is for me.” He shrugged. “Like I said, it’s hard to explain.”
“And that’s why I’m doing this,” she said. “So that I can understand why you and Mal put yourselves through this.”
“Speaking of which...this doesn’t have anything to do with him, does it?” Lachlan asked. “I know you’ve been kinda caught in the middle of this, as much as I tried to keep you out of it…”
Alanah shook her head, tucking a lock of blonde hair behind her ear. “Not..directly. At first, it was kind of an impulse decision. I was just so stressed out and frustrated that it was the best way I could think of to get it out of my system. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.”
Lachlan sighed, rubbing his temples. “I’m not going to talk you out of this, am I?”
She shook her head, with a defiant little smirk on her face. “Not a chance, big bro.”

April 2019
It had been two months since she had made her decision, and Alanah had never looked back. Once she got over the initial soreness and pain of her first few weeks of training, she had taken to it like a natural. Even a bout of pneumonia that landed her in the hospital hadn’t been enough to deter her from her training.
But there were a group of three girls in her classes that seemed determined to make her life as difficult as possible. Any time she had to run drills with any of them, they always attempted to injure her in some way, though they always claimed it was an accident. Alanah never said anything, just kept to herself and worked hard. She didn’t want to cause any trouble with her trainers, so she just powered through it and tried her best to ignore the girls.
Even outside of the ring, the girls constantly gossiped about her, most times not even being subtle about it. On this particular day, Alanah decided to come and get a workout in, but when she stepped through the gym doors, she saw the girls huddled together near the treadmills. As if they sensed it, their eyes snapped up to stare at her as she walked past them to the last treadmill on the row. She silently hoped that maybe today, they would be bored with her and not bother her.
As she started her run, she could see them moving closer to her out of the corner of her eye. She cursed herself for forgetting her headphones at home, as they leaned against the wall right beside her machine, talking and giggling. Alanah tried desperately to ignore them, but they made sure that they spoke loud enough that she could hear them over the pounding of her sneakers on the treadmill.
“It’s kind of funny how they’ll let just anyone train here,” one of them said, twirling a lock of hair around her finger while side-eyeing Alanah. “You’d think that someone as famous as Levi Russow would have standards.”
She heard another girl scoff loudly. “Please, everyone knows the only reason she’s here is cause she’s sleeping with Levi’s kid.”
Alanah felt her face burn with embarrassment, but she carried on with her run. She was so focused on what she was doing that she almost didn’t see when her trainer, Cameron O’Neil, walked up behind the group of girls. When Cameron cleared her throat, however, all the girls turned their heads in her direction, Alanah included. The petite brunette had an unpleasant look on her face, directed towards the three girls.
“So what if she is? She’s got more natural talent than the three of you put together, she works harder than anyone here, and she respects everyone, even you three twits. Hell, she was raring to get back in the ring two days after she got out of the hospital for pneumonia.” She extended an arm and pointed to the ring in the middle of the room. “Now get your asses in the ring and practice your bumps.”
The three girls scurried off to the ring without a backwards glance, as Alanah shut off the treadmill. “Miss O’Neil-”
Cameron put a hand up to stop her. “Look Alanah, I know those girls have been giving you a hard time since you started here, and I know that you haven’t said anything because you didn’t want to stir the pot. But you have to start sticking up for yourself if you want to get anywhere in this business. Girls like them are going to be a part of the wrestling world, and if you don’t learn to deal with them now, they’re just going to make your life a living hell. I’m saying this because I think you’ve got something special, and I could see you going far in this business. I just want you to realize your worth. Don’t let bitches like that make you think that you’re worthless, because you are far from it.”
Swallowing down the lump in her throat, Alanah nodded. “Yes, ma’am.”
Cameron rolled her eyes. Ugh, you know I hate it when you call me that.” She flashed a wink and a smile to Alanah.”Finish up your run, and we’ll see about working some of your martial arts training into your moveset.”
Alanah nodded, and turned the treadmill back on to finish her run, this time a smile gracing her face.
------ Present Day
She paced nervously around the small room, chewing on her thumbnail. The butterflies in her stomach were on overdrive, and she felt slightly light-headed. As she turned to pace again, she was caught up in the arms of her boyfriend, Jack Russow, who hugged her to his chest.
“Babe, you need to calm down,” he said. You’re gonna be just fine. It’s just a little interview, that’s all.”
“But what if I stutter? What if I can’t think of anything to say? What if I talk way too much?” she said, staring up at Jack with a terrified expression on her face. “No, I’m just going to go to Miss Stormz and Mr. Shane and tell them I can’t do this.”
Jack took her gently by the shoulders and sat her down on the couch in the room. “You will do no such thing. You will sit here, you will do the interview, and you will be absolutely perfect at it, just like you are with everything else.”
She gave him an unimpressed stare. “You’re just saying that-”
He cut her off with a peck on her lips. “Because it’s true.”
Before he could say anything more, there was a knock at the door, and Cameron Fernandez entered the room, a bright smile on her face. “Hey, you must be Alanah O’Connell!” She walked up and shook Alanah’s hand rather enthusiastically. “I’m Cameron Fernandez, I’ll be interviewing you for your upcoming match on Riot!”
Alanah couldn’t help but feel a little more relaxed around the petite interviewer. “That’s great, I’m looking forward to it.” She looked to the door, where Jack was slipping out. He blew her a kiss as he closed the door behind him, and she smiled as Cameron settled into the couch beside her and the camera crew set up their equipment in front of them.
“Alright, it’s just going to be basic stuff, nothing too intense. Just how you got into the business, what was it like training at Levi’s school, and then a bit of promo for your debut match, alright?” Cameron said, flashing a smile at Alanah.
Right then, Alanah decided that she wanted Cameron to interview her all the time, since she was making her feel completely at ease. “Sounds good to me.”
The camera operator gave the signal to start, and Cameron immediately jumped into interviewer mode. “I’m Cameron Fernandez, and I’m here with Apex’s newest roster member Alanah O’Connell for an exclusive interview before her debut at Friday Night Riot.”. She turned to look at Alanah. “First things first, welcome to Apex! How does it feel to be signed?”
‘It’s been pretty surreal, to be honest. I don’t think I had been out of training for even a week before I got the phone call from David Shane himself. It’s pretty humbling to get a call from the boss himself asking if you want to sign a contract!” She giggled a little.
“Well, from what I heard, you came highly recommended from Cameron O’Neil. What exactly made you want to step into the wrestling world? We know that you have two brothers who are lighting up the independent scene. Did that have any factor on your decision to start training?”
Alanah shifted a little in her seat. “Well, everyone who knows me knows that I look up to my brothers a lot, especially my oldest brother Lachlan. He’s someone that I usually turn to when I need advice. Admittedly, at first I really just wanted to see why he loved wrestling so much. Kind of a lame reason, right?” She laughed again. “But the more I got into my training, the more I loved the adrenaline rush. It was...well, addictive. I could see why Lach loved it so much. So, I decided that I was going to go all out and really give wrestling a shot. And now, here I am!”
Cameron nodded with a smile. “Here you are, with your debut match this coming Friday against another competitor making her Apex debut, Heather Haze. She’s certainly made it very clear that she’s quite an accomplished wrestler, and that she is - and I quote - ‘THE superstar’ here in Apex. What do you have to say in regards to that?”
Alanah bit her bottom lip for a moment, mulling the question over in her head. But then, Cameron’s words to her came back to the forefront of her mind… ”Don’t let bitches like that make you think that you’re worthless, because you are far from it.”
“She certainly walked into the company guns blazing, didn’t she? But the thing about her is that she’s nothing special. Sure, she may have had some successes in other companies, but that was then and Apex is now. Women like her, who act like they’re miles better than everyone else and treat others like the dirt under their feet are a dime a dozen in this industry. She’s cut from the same cloth as dozens of others. She can brag about all her accomplishments, use her body to get what she wants...but when it comes time to step into the ring, she’s going face to face with a Wild Irish Rose. And she’s going to find out the hard way that I’m not the pushover she thinks I am.”
Cameron’s face took on a very impressed look, and she smiled coyly. “I think a lot of people are going to have their minds changed about you. You bring that same fire to the ring on Friday night, I think you’ll be well on your way to your very first win in the wrestling business. Well, thank you for sitting down with me, Alanah, and the best of luck to you this Friday at Riot.”
Alanah gave a little cheeky smirk. “Cameron, I’m Irish. My people invented luck.”
