With a successful victory at Destiny, Alexander Lyons proudly walked around The Lyons Den showing off the United Championship to anyone who wanted to see it, and those who didn’t as well, when he approached his twin cousins, one of which has a championship on her shoulder, but Alexander just rolls his eyes and smirks.
“You still carrying that thing around?” he said with a mocking tone, “Didn’t your company close down, AGAIN? You really have some luck don’t you Victoria?”
His cousin scowled back at him annoyed look on her face.
“It’s not my fault Keevee Kaiser keeps sending us to poorly managed companies.” she replied, “But I won this championship. The final PWE Victory Champion, is ME. That makes me the forever champion and now nobody can take this away.”
Alex laughs to himself, “Forever champion?” he smirked, “You sound desperate. I am champion of an actual company that’s still running shows. I’m the only real champion around here, but you keep calling yourself the Forever champion if it makes you feel better.”
“We’ll be back working soon.” Victoria insisted, “The Lyons Twins are still the top talent in this dojo, we started the new era. Not you, Not Cleo, Not Eddie. It was US.”
“Well, it looks like it’s time to put the past behind us, because the future of this dojo is Alexander Lyons.” replied Alex arrogantly.
“Until I get back on my own feet” said a voice, not the twins or Alex, “Someone needs to restore honor to this family, because the three of you have sullied it long enough.”
The third cousin, Eddie walks up, giving the twins and Alex a shared look of annoyance.
“Eddie” Alex said, “I hate to tell you this, but you are far from the future of this place. You’re the bottom of the totem pole dear cousin. My father knows all of Keevee’s plans, and he’s shopping around for the twins, but not for you. I guess he doesn’t have as much faith in you as you think he does.”
“It doesn’t matter.” said Eddie. “I perhaps jumped the gun and went into PWE too soon. Still I was able to turn some heads, and if Keevee thinks I need some time to train here before he finds a company for me, then I’ll just work harder so I can reach the goals he needs me too.”
“Sure sure, honor, respect whatever” Alex said rolling his eyes, “None of that will get you anywhere. You have to be willing to play dirty sometimes, even your friend Cleo knows that, hell even Keevee himself knows that, he was an outright bastard most of his career. Probably why he's not looking at companies for you to join.”
“Well, that’s not my style. Like I said, someone in this family needs to the the honorable one.” said Eddie.
“THAT is why you fail.” Alex mocked. “That is why you will never hold one of these. A championship. You’re too soft, you always want to do the right thing. It’s a shame, because you probably are the toughest of all of us.”
“I’m also unbreakable” Eddie replied, “If HER words can’t convince me to…play dirty as you say, then you for sure won’t. At least she positions herself as a leader.”
Eddie motioned to Victoria as he spoke.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” an annoyed Alex replied
“You know what it means.” Eddie said, “Just be sure you don’t piss off Sanders, or the queen right?”
“You have no idea what you’re talking about.” Alex said, “Because you have nobody watching your back. That’s why Finn Whelan was able to beat you up week after week.”
Eddie and Alex got into each others faces, before being interrupted by yet another voice, one more familiar to the PWS audience.
“Problem here?” the voice of Cleo Phillips said.
The two stepped away, and looked over at Cleo standing in her street clothes.
“Shouldn’t you be in school?” Alex said
“Got a few days off.” she said, “Holiday around the corner and all. But yeah Still studying to be a Social Worker.”
“Well, that’s good for you Cleo, I’ve been busy winning this.” Alex said motioning to his championship, “You remember this right? You remember losing this to Alexis Makarios?”
Cleo shakes her heard with a laugh, “Just remember when I was United Champion, while I had Z in my corner, he never once interfered and helped me. I won that on my own, I defended it on my own, and I lost it on my own.”
“Just like you lost the World Championship on your own.” Alex mocked
“I did, and I make no excuses. Mike Hawk was the better man that night, but I hope your Dark Queen knows, he’s probably pissed off and a pissed off Hawk..is a dangerous one. Just ask Sanders, I’m sure he has a horror story or two.” said Cleo
“Whatever, just know that I am going to be a better United Champion than you were, and Alexandra is going to be a better World Champion than you were. So just go back and hide in your little classroom until you’re ready to fight again.” Alex replied
Cleo takes an aggressive step at Alex, but is held back by Eddie.
“Not here Cleo. He’s just running his mouth anyway. You’re better than this.” Eddie said
Cleo nodded, “You’re right, he’s not worth it. C’mon lets just go run some drills.” she said, as her and Eddie left to find an empty ring.
“Lovely bunch of students we are.” Victoria smirked, finally speaking up again.
“Just remember which of us is the only one employed and actively working. Best of luck finding a new company.” he said snidely before making his own exit.
__________
Alex stood in the darkness of an old warehouse, the United Championship proudly resting on his shoulder, as he wears that signature arrogant smirk he’s become known for.
“Another generational talent steps up, this one from the Lopez family” he says, “So I guess he’s Gracies kid brother, and probably related to Jennifer too somehow. I don’t care enough to keep track of who’s related to around here, because I simply don’t care. There’s several generational talents around here, including me. But unlike you Eddie, I am not forever forced to live in my fathers shadow, but you will forever be…Junior. It’s what always happens when your given the name of your more talented father, I know, because my cousin Vincent Jr, has the exact same problem.”
He continues speaking, not taking his eyes off the camera.
“See Vincent had himself a good run in a company called HWL, but that entire time he was living in the shadow of my uncle, of his father.” Alexander explained “Vincent Jr worried too much about having to live up to Vincent Sr, because he’s cursed with having his name\. I however am NOT Zachary Lyons Jr. I am Alexander Lyons and I create my own destiny. Which if you haven’t noticed has led me to holding tag championships, and now United Champion.”
He looks over casually at his championship with pride.
“You know what else you have in common with my cousin?” Alex continued, “You both let a woman speak for you. Vincent has become a lapdog to his own twin sister. Now I know you don’t speak English well, so you need Brooklyn to help you, but c’mon show some passion, where’s that fiery Latino energy? Call someone a Puto, or a Cabrón say SOMETHING!!! You need to grow a pair Eddie Jr, or maybe my cousin will give you the ones he lost.”
Alex pauses for a moment, to collect his thoughts, and mug at the camera some more.
“I wonder how much you can fully even understand me. Maybe I should speak YOUR language, I did take some Spanish in High School.” Alex said, “It’s not perfect, but probably better than your English, let me see if I can refresh my memory.”
Alex clears his throat.
“Donde Esta La Biblioteca?” he say with a smartass tone, "¿Qué te gusta hacer?, Estoy Muy bien.”
He laughs to himself
“Just warming up.” he grins before continuing
Alex says arrogance showing in his tone., “La Concha de tu Madre vavoso”
He draws in a breath, seemingly pleased with himself.
“I just wanted to be sure I spoke so TÚ can understand me amigo” Alex continued with his arrogant, and aggressive speaking style.
“I know you see this on my shoulder, and think it’s your chance to really make a name by showing up the new champion.” Alex said, “But you’ll quickly find that to be no more than a dream, a sueño. I am going to hurt you EJ, and I’m going to hurt you bad. You are still just your fathers son, still not your own man and as long as you carry the tag of Junior, you will never be your own man. You keep the company of the irrelevant, while I get to dine with the World Champion, and don’t forget the monsters that watch my back. All you can really hope for Eddie is survival. Your chances at victory are about the same chances a submersible has visiting the Titanic, but at least you have a chance at surviving.”
A cool breeze blows past Alex, through the broken widows and cracks of the warehouse, as Alex takes in a breath.
“The summer of Alexander has begun.” he smirked, “And you Eddie are the next one to feel the heat, you are the next one that is going to get burned as I become the greatest United Champion of all time. Jack Russow couldn’t stop me, and he’s a more talented generational talent than you are, in fact his whole family is better than yours, and I fucking can’t stand the Russows. But you? You have no grit, no edge, you’re nothing. I’d probably have a better fight against Brooklyn.” Alex continued, “If you want to even stand a snowballs chance in hell against me, against any member of ANTITHESIS, you really need to grow up, and learn to speak for yourself, even if you must use another language, then talk your shit in your native language, because I’ll be honest. You can probably say anything and it’ll sound cool, just a perk of your language I guess, when someone says a bunch of stuff angrily in Spanish, it always sounds mean, it always sounds intense, but you choose to sit there like a bump on a log letting Brooklyn do the talking for you, when she should be translating. But who am I to be giving you advice on your career and how you can be more of a man?”
He smirks, looking down again at his championship
“Oh right. I’m the fucking United Champion.” Alex said, as he looked straight into the camera.”My name is Alexander Lyons, and I am RIGHTEOUS IN WRATH!”
He lets out a loud growling noise, and snarls slightly, glaring at the camera until everything fades to black.

“Lost in translation” (For a few days everything has been quiet in the Lopez family with everyone doing their own things, and preparations for Madison’s baby coming soon. However the quietness doesn’t last long as we see Eddie Jr walking into the house with someone on his mind, he is almost like he’s in a panicked mood by something he overheard. In the room, we see “Pickleboy”, as the family calls him though his name is Leroy. We see him and the older Eddie talking about something and we see Brooklyn as well in the mix. As they talk to Leroy, Eddie Sr looks at his son walking towards them with an aggressive tone) Eddie Jr: Gracie getting rid of Manny. Brooklyn: Huh? Eddie Jr: I heard her and glitter girl say she’ll have new baby and get rid of Manny. (Everyone looks at him like he’s lost his mind or something as silence fell for all of them. They’re trying to figure out what he’s trying to say before the old man speaks up.) Eddie Sr: Glitter lady?...OH! You mean Candy. It was supposed to be a secret until we figure out the process and how long it’ll take, but Gracie isn’t getting rid of her daughter. In fact, Manny will be a sister if this goes well…She’s planning in adopting a kid. Eddie Jr: Ohhhh…. Eddie Sr: Yeah, I’ve known about it since she came back from the make-a-wish thing she did. She came to me asking about how to start the process but I didn’t know, so she went to Candy. I figured Candy would be the better person to ask since she has an adopted kid. (EJ nods his head still trying to completely understand what’s going on, somewhere somehow it got lost in translation with him as he is still learning English. Sometimes things like this get him upset because he doesn’t know what people are doing and it leads to things like this.) Eddie Jr: I understand. New baby. Eddie Sr: Yeah. As far as I know, this baby is 1 year old and came from Venezuela. That’s all she’s told me so far, so I’m sure there’s more to this and what happened to the parents. We just have to be patent with it. Eddie Jr: She have time? (The elder Eddie shrugs his shoulders) Eddie Sr: She says she does but I think she’s stretching herself thin, but that’s my opinion though. Brooklyn: I think she is too but at the same time, she’s making being a single parent look easy! If she thinks she can have time for another kid, more power to her. She has my support, she’ll always have my support. (Everyone in the room nods in agreement. Whatever Gracie does in her future she has the support of her family which means the world to her even though she’s not in the room as they’re agreeing to it.) Brooklyn: One more question, how’s she doing with her recovery? Eddie Sr: No idea. Brooklyn: What do you mean no idea?! You’re her father, she tells you everything. Eddie Sr: Yeah when she was younger. She’s grown up, she doesn’t have to tell me things if she doesn’t want to. She knows I’m an open ear for when she does need to talk. She has her own life that I try not to interfere with. I only show up when she needs a babysitter or she needs an extra pair of hands for a project she’s doing. That goes for the rest of my kids too, they know I’m here for them if they need an ear. (Meanwhile, we see EJ in the back listening to Brooklyn and his dad bicker like an old married couple about Gracie as he shakes his head. He loves his family but he’s starting to notice and get to know they love to bicker sometimes with each other. He doesn’t find it annoying, it’s just something he never had growing up. Sure, he and his mom would bicker but not in a fashion like this. A friendly banter.)
“Underdogs can win” (A few days have gone by since EJ watched his family bicker over Gracie’s health. We see EJ at his house playing with one of his boys that won’t go to sleep like his brother, so EJ is keeping him entertained. The little boy adores his father, and always has a smile on his face at any movement EJ does. Brooklyn makes her way into the house to check up on his friend and the little nephews she has. The baby looks at her with a smile on his face again. She plays with him for a moment before turning to EJ.) Brooklyn: I have a feeling you’re gonna have more kids? Eddie Jr: Yes. Brooklyn: You and your soon-to-be wife make beautiful babies by the way… so I’m sure the next round will be just like these little bundle of joys, but you know I didn’t come here to play with them right? I came here for business. (Eddie Jr nods his head. He knows he’s up for a big task this show.) Brooklyn: You’re facing Lyons and he’s not easy to beat to say the least and he’s a very angry boy, which is normal for people like him. And I’m sure he’s going to mouth off about some stupid shit that doesn’t even matter to us or probably make fun of you for not speaking English because how original. Let’s make fun of the Spanish person for not speaking English, and let’s make racist jokes as well because comedy! (Brooklyn rolls her eyes.) Brooklyn: But you know what, that’s what makes America great because you have the freedom to say that well for now anyway, but that’s a different story for a different day. The way things are, the Freedom to say what you want won’t be around by the end of year…. Anyway, I’m off course here. Point is, he can run his mouth all he wants but it’s going to fall on deaf ears because I don’t care about the stuff he has to say, and I really don’t have the energy to pretend to care either. (Brooklyn shrugs her shoulders a bit.) Brooklyn: Look I’m going to get to the point here because I can’t be bothered to talk about you. You can make fun of EJ all you want, but that’s going to be your downfall. You’re gonna realize that he’s not somebody you can push around in the ring, he’s going to give you a fight and there’s nothing you can do about it. Yeah, he’s an underdog in this match but you know what? He’s been an underdog before, this is nothing new for him. But he’s resilient, he’s going to keep fighting no matter how difficult it gets in that ring. You? You’re going to get even angrier because you can’t put him away, and he’s going to keep kicking out… that’s the Lopez family in a nutshell, they don’t give up, and they don’t lay flat on their backs…they make you work for your shit. (Brooklyn cracks a small smile on her face) Brooklyn: If you don’t believe me, you’ll find out soon enough… and you’ll find out the hard way. (The scene comes to an end)
