(We see Gracie sitting on the edge of the ring after doing some training with Jenn, but now we see her daughter walking around the ring and exploring it under the guided eye of Gracie to make sure she doesn’t fall off the ring but Manny is proudly walking around like a big girl. We see Jenn watching her grandchild with a smile on her face.)
Jenn: She’s so inquisitive about the wrestling ring.
Gracie: I was the same way when I was her age. I mean my dad should have a picture of that somewhere. I swear Manny is just like me….
Jenn: She is. If you didn’t notice, she has that Lopez temper.
Gracie: Oh no, I’ve noticed and it’s only going to get worse from here on out.
Jenn: Trust me. I’ve been living with you guys for years now and I’m used to it. Especially your dad’s temper. Annnd I saw that temper last week.
Gracie: Oh, I’m still angry at that. You can’t tell me that David paid that ref off and I’m not standing by the ol “the ref didn’t see so the ref’s decision stands” It’s a cop-out and it’s complete bullshit. Anyone with 2 working eyeballs could have seen his feet on the ropes, hell even a blind person seen it. But you know what? It’s ok. The person I’m facing will feel the punishment of even being in this match because right now I don’t give a shit, I don’t care if I hurt this no-name or not. I’m here to send a message to EVERYONE.
Jenn: I don’t blame you for being angry.
Gracie: Angry isn’t the goddamn word for it, and the person I’m facing, it’s their fault. It’s their fault for facing me, it’s their fault for what’s about to happen to them, and it’s their fault for making a stupid career choice. He wanted to make a stupid decision, fine. He gets punished for it, and I’m not sorry for my actions. It’s his punishment, not mine.
(Gracie turns her back and refocuses on her daughter, you can tell the stuff that happened last week is about to explode and when it does, it’s not going to be pretty for anybody near her. The scene fades with Gracie walking behind her daughter seemingly with a fake smile on her face to hide the anger.)
