The last time we saw the Hell Hounds, they were beaten by Jesse Russow and his large pal. Since that fateful night, our heroes have been sulking inside their gated compound located just outside of Los Angeles, California. Sir Percy Clay has tried his best to help his friends realize that one match doesn’t quite define you. Jester Bailey, after recovering from a few cracked ribs, seems ready to hop back into the fight but Grog is still shook.
Jester Bailey: Grog, darling, I am fine.
Jester says while placing her hand on top of his large shoulder. Grog doesn’t really respond with words. He lifts his eyes up toward while raising his glass of ale and steadily sipping on it.
Jester Bailey: Grog, honey, I assure you that I am going to be just fine.
Grog grunts.
Grog Tusktooth: I failed you.
Jester Bailey: What are you talking about?
Grog finished off his ale before slamming his glass onto the wooden table. Jester jumps a little as Grog scowls.
Grog Tusktooth: I couldn’t stop that fowl beast from nearly crushing you. I made a vow that I would protect you and I broke that vow.
Jester takes a step around Grog and sits on the edge of the table. She softly glides her fingers across his chin before tilting his face up towards hers.
Jester Bailey: Darling, I can assure you that I am going to be okay. I know what I was getting myself into when I stepped into the ring.
As Jester is trying to get Grog’s confidence back, their friend Percy Clay comes walking into the large room with a smile on his face. Jester notices the smile as she tries to get his attention.
Percy Clay: I cannot believe that it worked.
Jester Bailey: What worked?
Percy Clay: Well, I just got off the phone with the management of PWS and got you booked on their Dishonored Card.
Jester Bailey: What are you talking about Percy?
Percy’s smile widens as he walks up to the table and unrolls one of the posters. Jester is in awe of the artwork as Grog is still looking down at the floor.
Jester Bailey: I am amazed at the beautiful artwork. Now where is this taking place?
Percy Clay: I don’t think that’s important.
Percy says with a lump in his throat. Jester cocks her head to the side as Percy just points at the location on the poster. Her eyes go wide before glancing over at Grog.
Jester Bailey: Oh this is just great.
Grog: What!?
Jester Bailey: Nothing honey
Grog lifts his head after listening to Percy and Jester conversation. Jester gulps as Percy slowly backs away from the table. Grog notices the location as his face goes red with anger.
Grog Tusktooth: Is this some kind of joke? You know full well that I am not a fan of Canada. Do you really think I am going to play nice this time around?
Jester Bailey: It’s not Percy’s fault Grog. He was just doing his job. I know there is some bad history between you and Canada but try to keep your head inside the match. I’ve looked at the card. We are facing a new wrestler in Ace Michaels and Morgan Baker.
Grog looks at Jester with a curious look on his face. Jester smiles as they begin to discuss how they were going to work this match.
Jester Bailey: What should be our game plan Grog? The last time we were in a match, we tried winging it and it went horribly wrong. I don’t know much about Morgan Baker but I have read that she is talented beyond her years. I don’t want to underestimate her skills.
Grog Tusktooth: I don’t really care how good those two are as individuals. This is a tag team match where we have the advantage. Ace Michaels is too egotistical to even let Morgan steal his spotlight let alone share it. I am well aware that he has been impressive but that doesn’t mean anything to me. After last time, I have this unhealthy obsession of ripping someone’s face off. It doesn’t help that I have to compete in my least favorite country.
Jester Bailey: Ace and Morgan, we normally don’t overlook our opponents but after losing in our debut match. We have a lot to prove and that means putting our boots directly into your backsides. This isn’t personal. We take this job very seriously. I mean the fact we haven’t been able to play DND with our friends because of my cracked ribs. So that’s also fueling our need to showcase what we can do inside that ring. We don’t need fancy lights or fireworks. All we need is our each other and the thousands of people chanting our name. The people are the ones who give us the spark.
Grog stands up from his chair, walks around the table and grabs a bottle of Ale. He looks at a poster of them just hanging on the wall.
Grog Tusktooth: After watching Jester getting hurt, I have made a vow to never let her get hurt again. If that means bashing your skull with my fists then so be it. I am not going to be in a happy mood. I’m going to be in the mood for hurting someone. Jester will want to look for the good of people. Me. I am going to drop you on your head. Ace and Morgan better not get in my way or it will be a long night for you.
Grog turns away from the poster and moves out of the room. Jester smirks while running her fingers across her chin.
Jester Bailey: Morgan and Ace, I really don't want you to feel like we are bad people. We are the nicest people you will ever meet but like Grog said. We aren't pushovers. We are coming into this match with a purpose and that purpose is to win at all cost.
Percy Clay: Good luck, you are going to need it.

Wake Up Little Girl, You Have Been Summoned Orlando, FL
Florida has been an absolute wreck since Hurricane Ian came through. Thankfully Orlando dealt with some major flooding on the south side of the city.
“I didn’t end up losing everything in the flood that I wasn’t able to pack. I was just over there today and for the most part it’s all fine. But I can’t get back in til the watershed loses that excess. Thankfully I have some place to stay,” Morgan Baker, it’s been a while since we have seen her pixie-like presence in PWS: Apex. For a while she has been living in Florida and in training at the Wolfslair: Orlando office under the guise of Lachlan Kane and his wife, Sierra Williams who was now coaching from the sidelines since the announcement of her pregnancy. When asked for volunteers, Morgan gladly stepped up and was quickly taken under their wing.
It wasn’t active on the shows, but she was helping train, staying in Florida and enjoying life. She was blonde now, and tan and toned. Truly looked like she had accepted the Floridian life.
Until that damn Hurricane.
This led to the frantic calls from her family back home, begging her to be anywhere but in the storm’s path. She was encouraged to stay by her mates at the gym and she hunkered down.
That didn’t stop her family from calling her and begging her to leave and just come back home.
“Morgan, I am begging you. I will even pay for your ticket to get all your things back here, back home.” that voice from her frantic mother who despite the fact that she was no worse for wear, was still convinced that the Hurricane was going to come back.
“It’s not happening mum, I am safe here. I have a job and getting paid really well for it.” Mogan said as she folded the same shirt she’s been folding for the last 10 minutes.
“Morgan, your mother is frantic. It’s bad enough when you lived in New York with that Kasey character...” that belongs to Morgan’s father, who tried to use the big voice...like she was still 15 years old and acting out of turn, “And you haven’t been booked in months. Not weeks, MONTHS! It’s absolutely pointless for you to stay over there when you have nothing going on.”
“Pardon me! Da! I have been keeping myself extremely busy, thank you very much.” Morgan getting upset as the conversation continues on, “It’s only a matter of time til I am back in the ring but until then I would appreciate that you both treat me like a damn adult!”
“Young lady!”
“I gotta go, we’re gonna clean up the parking lot at the centre today. Give my love. BYE!” she got out before they could continue the argument any further. She would collapse on the bed and huff, a fluffy white cat would jump up, “Hey there Gus Gus, come to pity the hopeless?”
The cat would purr loudly as Morgan would give him simple head scratches.
“When is it going to happen for me again, Gus Gus. When am I going to be invited to the ball?”
And as if something in the stars finally aligned, her phone went off.
It’s time to come home, Morgan.
I Have Waited Too Long Toronto, Ontario, Canada
It was almost like a whole new world. Spending so long in Florida, Morgan’s body forgot what it felt like in the fall temperatures in the northern region of the world. She found herself sitting outside the CN Tower and looking straight up.
“Talk about your visual effects.”
Morgan rolled her neck and stared straight ahead with her baby blue eyes and a smirk on her face.
“You wanna know the last time I was around a PWS: Apex ring? I had to go digging myself cause I couldn’t remember myself. JANUARY!!!! I happened to finally get my revenge on Dickie Rider and then suddenly it was silent.” she rubs the back of her neck before fluffing out her long blonde hair.
“I didn’t mind it honestly, it gave me ample opportunity to really become more well rounded. I’ve had to depend on myself in the last few months. Occasionally traveling north to visit friends but at the end of the day, I had myself to depend on.”
She watches as a group of people pass by, looking like they are a group of friends and Morgan smiles fondly.
“In the process of that though I’ll admit that I was a tad out of the loop when I got the message about being needed for Dishonored. Where I’m teaming up with Ace Michaels, who I know nothing about or if I can even trust him...against these two MMA jerkoffs The Hell Hounds.”
She leans forward, resting her elbows on her knees.
“Look I know I haven’t really been around much but in case you have all forgotten, I am a former tag team champion and yeah while it’s been a while I haven’t forgotten how to do this. I watched you two get your asses handed to you by Slappy and Jesse and part of me would have pitied you if you had not asked for it. You came up and slapped two legends in PWS history in the face. And while they are not even remotely popular with their own family right now, the fact is you two seem to have litter for brains walking into Dishonored.”
Morgan pushes herself up to a standing position and looks straight ahead.
“As for my partner Ace Michaels, you are not in there with some greenhorn. I may have been MIA the last few months, but that doesn’t mean that I am rusty. I expect you to step up and show me something. I’ve been down the path of a promising partner only for them to take all the credit when they didn’t put in the work. Ask Dickie Rider how that went for him because I promise you, he still has PTSD from that shit.” she says with a giggle, “Either way, PWS: Apex here I am. I’m at the bottom once again and I’m going to work my way up. One step at a time, and this time...I’m not gonna just be forgotten.”
She turns around and begins to walk towards the entrance and stops real quick motioning towards the camera.
“Climb with me?”
