We open on some scenery of an crumbled throne, the quiet scene is accompanied by some somber piano music, which slowly picks up tempo, the words FAMINE flash on screen, an armored knight in a full helm appears, his armor full of dents, scratches and other collateral damage standing by the throne, as the tempo picks up more, the words WAR appear, and another armored solider appears, his armor stained in blood from a hard fought battle against his adversary, , the tempo continues to pick up as DEATH flashes on screen, followed by a much larger solider appearing, towering over the other two, with one final boom, one more word appears.
CONQUEST
A hooded figure appears seated on the throne, a rusty chainsaw lays just at his feet, the man reaches up and removes his hood, to reveal Alexander Lyons, who made his debut at Rise to Glory with an assist to Collateral Damage champion Johnathan Sanders. The warriors stand strong beside his throne, as he looks down at the chainsaw with a smirk on his face.
Alexander: You all worry about those boys with the chainsaws, but don’t realize the real threat that’s now in front of you. The Freekz can have their fun for the time being, but if their plans interfere with the plans of my brothers and myself, then we have no problem dealing with them as well. For those of you that are a little thick-headed, those brothers would be ANTITHESIS.
The three soldiers clang their swords and shields together, having a raucous celebration.
Alexander: The final piece of the puzzle. Together the four of us will ride across PWS bringing destruction and chaos wherever we go. Jonathan Sanders exploded onto the scene and has DOMINATED each and every time. Dionysus is a monster among men, just being in his presence makes people quiver in their boots. And Tyson Sykes proved just what he is worth at Rise to Glory. Tyson Sykes is a man who will fight to the bitter end, and that’s who I want beside me in the trenches. And then you have me, Alexander Lyons. The Exiled Prince. What do I bring to the table? I suppose you’ll have to find that out for yourselves won’t you? It’s about to happen in a big way I assure you, as I have the honor of sending a former world champion back over the cuckoos nest in my PWS debut.
From behind the throne Alexander is sitting on, a tapestry falls, bearing the image of Alexis Makarios, the three soldiers each take a torch and set it ablaze, the tapestry burning slowly as Alex gives his sermon.
Alexander: It has to be asked Alexis, are you really in the right state of mind? I mean you spend a month in the looney bin and suddenly you’re cured? I don’t buy it. I might be new around here but I’m not stupid. You’re up to something, I just haven’t figured out what just yet. Maybe something to do with your little gal pal Heather Haze, who knows? Just understand...I’m on to you.
The flames continue to creep up the tapestry, slowly burning it away.
Alexander: I have no doubt that I won’t be taken seriously because of my classification as a rookie, and that’s just fine. I’ve been looked over my whole life. My father and uncles opened a family wrestling school, but my cousins on a pathway to success, gave thugs like Cleo Phillips a chance, but did I ever get one call? NO. My family left me to rot, my father wanted nothing to do with me or my “ring rat mother.” I had to get here on my own, and I’ll be damned if I let you just walk all over me. They call me a rookie now, but I promise you I am going to be the next rookie of the year.
The flames slowly continue to creep up, having burned away about half the tapestry at this point.
Alexander: The thing is, looking at me as just a rookie will be the reason you ultimately fail. You just assume that your experience will lead you to victory, or that my threats shouldn’t be taken seriously. Such as Darius III didn’t take Alexander seriously during Alexanders conquest of Persia, and it cost him an empire and ultimately his life. What you need to look at me as is an unknown quantity. A former world champion like yourself should understand that you take every battle seriously, and that battles are not won on combat alone. You have to know how to play with your opponents psyche, the mental game is just as important.
Alexander scowls at the camera, and taps his head before smirking.
Alexander: This skull is Fort Knox. There is no getting under my skin. But I do know one word that could very well break you, well not a word, but a name. The name of...RUSSOW. Now I don’t care about your issues with that family, because ANTITHESIS, my brothers in arms are the only ones who matter to me. They are the only ones allowed inside my den, and the only ones worthy of joining my pride. Understand Alexis, that I won’t hesitate to use your issues with the RUSSOWS against you.
The tapestry continues to burn, only about a quarter and Alexis’ upper torso remain as the flames creep to her head.
Alexander: You need this victory too, with all your accolades it should be a walk in the park right? I mean, I am just some rookie after all, and you are a hall of famer. But what happens when this rookie brings the fight, and even worse what happens when you lose to this young rookie with a brash attitude? What happens to your state of mind when you can’t even beat some loud mouth rookie? The RUSSOWS should be the least of your concerns. That is not the name that should poison your mind. The name that should poison your mind, the name you should be concerned about…...is ANTITHESIS.
The soldiers once again clang their sword and shields together raucously, as the rest of the tapestry burns away.
Alexander: The final act of Alexis Makarios begins at Riot, and ends with her being sent back to her friends in the padded rooms. It’s okay though Alexis, I know a good doctor....
Suddenly there’s a bright flash, and when we return we are no longer in Alexanders throne room, but in a doctors office. One that clearly looks made for TV, a poster of Alexis Makarios photoshopped to be wearing a I *heart* the Russo Family t-shirt hangs on a wall.
Enter Alexander Lyons carrying a long pointer stick, wearing a doctors robe, a stethoscope around his next and a head mirror. The aura about him seems different, almost more fun but still an air of arrogance. He smiles and waves at the camera, which comes off more unsettling than friendly.
Alexander: Oh hello there!, I’m Dr. Lyons and I’m here to talk to you today about the importance of good mental health. Recently we had a patient come stay with us, Miss Alexis Makarios.
With a loud thwack, the pointer smacks against the poster, pointing at Alexis’ face.
Alexander: Miss Makarios suffered from delusions of grandeur. Saw herself as something greater than she was, and when it all came crashing down that despite her success, she wasn’t as good as she thought she was, she snapped. Like totally lost it, kicking, screaming the whole deal.
Images of Alexis being dragged out in handcuffs flash on the screen before we return to Alexander.
Alexander: Miss Makarios turned into a loose cannon, and Dr. Fisher and myself were forced to prescribe her with some really strong medications because she became a danger to herself and those around her. Miss Makarios could have avoided all this had she just admitted to herself that maybe her star is fading. Had she admitted that the opinion of others matters not then she wouldn’t be so triggered upon hearing the name RUSSOW.
The name Russow can be heard echoing before quietly fading.
Alexander: But that’s why we help people like Miss Makarios. Not all of us can be as strong minded as those ANTITHESIS boys. Some just cant handle the stress, the reality of life and that’s okay! But we keep those people locked away, so they can’t harm good people like Jonathan Sanders or Tyson Sykes. Miss Makarios belongs here with us, back at her true home. She may seem like she’s functioning normally, but without her medication, without proper care she risks great harm to herself, and others who are unable to defend themselves. Please, if you find yourself struggling with your mental health, seek help. Look to those around you for guidance. You don’t want to end up like Miss Makarios.
The pointer stick thwacks against Alexis again.
Alexander: Taken away, kicking screaming in humiliating fashion, only to return a shell of your former self. Stay well friends, take care of yourself, so you don’t end up like Miss Makarios.
Alexander smirks at the camera, as we get another bright flash and we’re back in the throne room, focused on Alexander at his throne once more, the burned tapestry still hanging in the background.
Alexander: The full power of ANTITHESIS is here, and Alexis Makarios gets to be it’s first victim. She should be honored to have such an opportunity.
The camera zooms in close to Alexanders face.
Alexander: HEAR ME ROAR.
