(The camera springs to life and pans around the arena, showing the crowd jumping and cheering on their feet. The camera comes to a table in the back where it stops. Seated at the table are 4 people. Tayna Reihl, Josiah Cena, Star Stormz, and David Shane. Tayna was wearing a dressy blouse, Star was in her typical pantsuit set, Josiah was wearing a nice suit, and David was in a nicely pressed button up shirt.)
Tayna Reihl: Hello everyone and welcome to the Destiny Pre-Show! Sitting here with me tonight, I am honored to have our Staff Consultant, PWS Hall of Famer Josiah Cena.
Josiah Cena: Pleasure to be here! It’s Destiny!
Tayna Reihl: And next to him, we have our lovely Co-Owner, Star Stormz.
Star Stormz: I am so excited to be sitting here right now, about to witness history!
Tayna Reihl: And rounding out tonight's table, we have our other Co-Owner, and newly inducted Hall of Famer, David Shane.
David Shane: I gotta say, being here at Destiny is an amazing feeling, and I can’t wait to get right into things.
Tayna Reihl: So let’s not waste any time, and just hop right into things! Dionysus versus Richard Rider. What do you guys think?
Star Stormz: Well first thing, I have some really high hopes for Dionysus. We haven’t seen what he can do in the ring, but just look at the guy… He’s a veteran in the business and I’m sure he is going to make short work of poor Richard Rider. He has a point to prove, and he’s gonna prove it.
(David was seen sitting there with a huge grin on his face. Star glares at him.)
Star Stormz: Don’t you dare…
David Shane: You see… when you have a talent such as Dick Rider… You gotta make sure that he has a HARD challenge…
(Star reaches under the table and pulls out a jar and sets it in front of David.)
David Shane: What’s this?
Star Stormz: The Dick Joke Jar. Every dick joke you make tonight… you put a $20 in the jar. So far… you are at 2.
(David reaches into his pocket and pulls out his wallet, tosses 2 $20 bills in the jar.)
David Shane: But in all seriousness… Rider better have some good insurance, because I have a feeling that Dionysus is going to put him on the shelf for a while. Just a gut feeling.
Josiah Cena: You have to kinda feel sorry for Rider. I mean first with his name, now he’s gotta go against this monster at Destiny. It could get ugly.
Tayna Reihl: It could get very ugly, indeed. I think the general consensus is that Richard Rider is going to lose in a spectacular fashion to the debuting Dionysus. So now, let’s take a look at the highlights that lead into our next match.
(The cameras cut and show different scenes from the build up to Jonathan Sanders defending his Collateral Damage Title against Cleo Phillips in her rematch as the former champion. When the package was done the camera cuts back to the panel.)
Tayna Reihl: So what do you guys think?
Josiah Cena: I think this one could steal the show. You have a determined former champion looking to win back what she had. And you have a guy who has been on quite a run since joining the company. I think this could go either way, but it’s gonna be fun to watch regardless.
David Shane: I agree with you, Jonathan Sanders worked hard to win that title in that 4 Corners Death Match at Demon’s Run. He has shown repeatedly that he belongs in that title division, and he has to get my vote for the win here. He’s determined and he has a very VERY bright future ahead of him.
Star Stormz: I agree with that, he does have a bright future, but so does Cleo. That girl has been through SO MUCH in her time in PWS already… and it can only get better. She’s got that determination to her. I can tell she is tough, and she wants to prove it. You can’t bet against this woman, and that’s why she is going to walk out of Destiny the 2 time Collateral Damage Champion.
Tayna Reihl: I’m on the fence here. Both sides are going to bring the fight, and in a Hardcore Match, anything can happen. I say that no matter who walks out the winner tonight, we are going to get a 5 star match from both and it will be a hard earned victory.
Star Stormz: Very true. Two newer stars who have the potential to be World Champion.
Tayna Reihl: No losers there, if you ask me. Now, moving on to our next match, we are about to see a battle for the #1 contendership for the PWS Tag Team Titles. Returning superstar Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez and her long lost sister Madison Carpenter will be competing against the newest Tag Team on the scene, The Society, which consists of Ella Singleton and Jasmine Phillips. That match is happening … NOW!
(Cameras cut to the empty ring.)
Tag Team Match
#1 Contender for Tag Team Titles
The Society v Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez and Madison Carpenter
Fans are clearly simmering for what’s sure to be a great Destiny, even here on the pre-show the atmosphere is electric. The Society make their way out first, scowling in subdued disgust at the sparse crowd in attendance. They swagger to the ring with their joint security guard, Carter King, following closely behind, but he hurries forward to hold the ropes open for them as they reach the ring. Shaking their heads and mouthing off to fans as they enter, the girls await their opponents.
Meg Reynolds: “The following contest is a tag-team match scheduled for ONE FALL! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 258 pounds, the team of Ella Singleton and Jasmine Philips, THE SOCIIIIIIIETYYYY!”
Next, out come the Lopezes, and their entrance has a totally different feel to their opponents. Upbeat, smiling, nodding at the fans in appreciation in lieu of tagging hands, the two make their way to the ring with a boisterous pep in their step. As soon as they join their opponents in the ring, they high-five each other and offer a double thumbs-up to the audience, to a chorus of cheers.
Meg Reynolds: “And their opponents, weighing in at a combined total of <WEIGHT REDACTED>, the team of Madison Lopez and Jennifer Carpenter-LOPEZ!
Both teams in the ring have a quick conversation amongst themselves about who’ll start things off, and we end up with Madison Lopez in the ring for team Lopez and Ella Singleton for the Society. The pair lock up in the centre of the mat and begin to jockey for position, with the slightly more technically-savvy Singleton taking the advantage. She immediately takes Madison to the mat with a Drop Toehold, which quickly transitions into a Side Headlock and just reefs on it with as much force as she can muster. Madison struggles as Ella wrenches on her neck, with the ropes nowhere in sight, but she eventually manages to wriggle free and roll back to her friendly corner for safety. Singleton taunts Lopez as she gets back to her feet, and Jenn just gives her partner a solemn, supportive look.
Jenn: “You good?”
Madison: “Yeah.”
Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez nods at her partner, not tagging herself in as Madison takes the fight back to the Society, launching out of the corner to nail the still-taunting Singleton with a running Dropkick. She tries to follow up immediately, but Singleton quickly gets back to her feet to shut down the attempted offense, tripping Madison into the Society’s corner. The team then take turns landing strikes and splashes on her in the corner and then tagging each other in, rinse and repeat, ending with a Double DDT and Jasmine - now the legal woman - goes for the pinfall.

NO! Jennifer breaks it up!
JR Freeman: “Oh! No luck for the Society, who were looking to end things early!”
Alfonso Banks: “A smart strategy, but they can always still wear their opponents out.”
Carpenter-Lopez then cleans house, tossing Philips out of the ring and clotheslining Singleton off the apron. She helps Madison to her feet and they both return to their own corner, where an official tag takes place. Then Jenn slides out of the ring to take the fight back to the downed Philips, dropping her on the outside with a Suplex before rolling her opponent back into the ring. She then continues to put the hurt on her opponent using her high-flying knowledge and the technical skill learned from the Lopez side of the family, the crowd’s excitement and anticipation building as the balance of power shifts in the babyfaces’ favour. She focuses on working the legs and the neck, in preparation for her California Dream finisher, but the tables turn as Ella Singleton climbs back onto the apron and tries to climb into the ring, getting the attention of the referee. With her back turned, Jasmine Philips takes advantage with a vicious eye rake, followed by a stiff kick to the pelvic bone! The crowd pelts the ring with boos, but the Society seem unaffected, even proud of their own underhanded tactics, as they force Jenn into the corner as well and start to work her over. Madison tries to get in to help her partner, but takes a vicious Lou Thesz Press from Ella, and the resulting chaos only allows further cheating, with Jasmine holding her boot on Jenn’s neck for well past a count of five. Finally the referee starts to get control again, with Madison rolling out of the ring and Ella returning to her corner for a tag. Working together, the Society nails Jenn with a Double Suplex and continues to lay the beatdown, but she fights gradually closer and closer to her friendly corner until finally getting the hot tag to a renewed Madison! The faces start to clean house again, sending the Society reeling, and finally things are looking up when Jenn and Madison drop both Singleton and Philips with stereo, synchronized Enzuigiris! This heralds the beginning of the end, setting up a chain that ends with Jenn Lopez dropping Ella Singleton with the B-2 and Madison coming off the top with the Phoenix Down! Cover…

3! IT’S OVER!
JR Freeman: “That’s it, the Lopezes are officially the number-one contenders for the PWS: Apex World Tag Team titles!”
Alfonso Banks: “No! Dammit! The Society was robbed. The champs are right, this whole system is rigged!”
Meg Reynolds: “Here are your winners and NEW Number One Contenders for the PWS: Apex World Tag Team Champions, Madison Lopez and Jennifer Carpenter-Lopez!”
WINNER AND TAG TEAM TITLE CONTENDERS= JENNIFER CARPENTER-LOPEZ AND MADISON CARPENTER
Tayna Reihl: WOW! What a match! Society fought their hardest but were not able to overcome the sister duo of Jenn and Madison. What did you guys think about what we just saw?
David Shane: Well, I gotta say I’m not surprised. I’ve worked closely with Jenn and Madison, and I know exactly what they can do. Jenn didn’t return to PWS to be an afterthought, and she is about to pave her way back into the spotlight.
Star Stormz: Agreed, but things could get a little awkward if Alexis and Heather retain the titles later tonight. Jenn and Alexis are practically sisters… could something like this drive a wedge between them?
Josiah Cena: I don’t think that’s something we’ll have to worry about, because I I don’t think Alexis and Haze are leaving tonight with the titles, but that’s got another time.
Tayna Reihl: Well, that time is right now… because we are about to discuss that match right after this video package.
(The cameras cut to show a video package of the build leading up to Heather Haze and Alexis Makarios defending the PWS Tag Team Titles against Dan and Audrey Russow. After the clip, it cuts back to the panel.)
Josiah Cena: Yeah, from where I’m sitting it’s a pretty good look for the Russows. They’ve had the champs where they want them on more than one occasion, and now there’s nowhere for them to run. I think it’s going to be bloody, I think it’s going to be violent, and I think the Russows are walking out with the tag titles.
David Shane: I have to say that I am thinking the same thing. Dan and Audrey have the advantage going into this match, and I think it’s going to end up working in their favor.
(Everyone turns their heads to David, shocked.)
David Shane: What?
Star Stormz: I gotta say, I’m surprised you aren’t rooting for your friend Alexis…
Josiah Cena: Yeah… same here… What gives?
Star Stormz: Are you sick?
David Shane: No… Look, the way things have been going lately, Alexis and Heather have been more preoccupied with getting this match cancelled than they have been preparing for the match. They are more interested in getting OUT of the match instead of winning it. And that’s going to be their downfall.
Star Stormz: The odds are in the Russow’s favor out there tonight. Heather and Alexis can’t use any of their clever, albeit cheap, tactics that they have used lately. They can’t run, they can’t hide, and they sure can’t get themselves disqualified. If I had to make a bet on this match… it would be on the Russows.
Tayna Reihl: You guys do have a point, Heather and Alexis have been a little… distracted… lately. But who knows what could happen. Another match where anything could happen … is the Parking Lot Brawl for the United Title… let’s take a quick glance back.
(The camera cuts to the video package for the build up to the United Title Match where Nick Madison defends his title against Eddie Lopez in a Parking Lot Brawl. It cuts back to the panel afterwords)
Tayna Reihl: A very personal match, indeed. Eddie Lopez did the unthinkable and scared a little 2 year old to the point of nightmares. I sure hope that Nick puts him in his place and makes him regret his actions.
Josiah Cena: Guys...on our last Riot...when I broke up that incident. I saw a look in Nick’s eyes that I haven't seen in quite a while. There was something different about him. I don’t think Eddie is ready for whatever he’s got coming for him. This one is not going to be pretty, and I have a feeling both men will be seriously hurting after this one. But, after the look I saw on Riot, I have to go with Nick Madison.
Star Stormz: I gotta say, I agree with you. Nick Madison is a pissed off dad looking for vengeance. As a parent… I gotta say I get it. Eddie dug a grave that I think is just too deep for him to get out of. I have seen what Nick can do… and Eddie has opened up a violent side I haven’t seen in him for a long time.
David Shane: That’s where I have to disagree. You know Eddie wants this title, because he went to the lengths he did to get the match. He calculated every single step of the way, and he knows exactly what he unleashed… and trust me… he is ready for it. Eddie Lopez has my vote.
Tayna Reihl: Quite a set of different opinions there… but let’s move on and take a look at an ICONIC and CLASSIC PWS Match that is making it’s return!
(The camera cuts and shows the build up to the Destination Next Ladder Match, including qualifiers. Once it’s done, it cuts back to the group.)
Tayna Reihl: The returning Destination Next match!!! I am personally very excited for this one. 6 men… I mean… 6 competitors step in the ring to try and get the briefcase that will be suspended above the ring. Inside, a contract for a title shot for ANY title in the PWS until Destiny next year! That’s a HUGE thing! I don’t even know if I can predict a winner in this… everyone in it has just as much claim to win as the others. What do you guys think?
Star Stormz: As someone who has seen MANY Destination Next matches… Hell, back in the old days I had a few of my PWSi superstars represented in them. I remember when Daniel Russow won the first cross brand Destination Next match. One thing this match does is it brings out that competitive nature in these people, and when you have names such as Miles Kasey, Lachlan Kane, Mike Hawk…
(David snickers and Star points to the jar. He frowns and puts a $20 bill in it. Cena chuckles at Star scolding David.)
Star Stormz: … Tyson Sykes, Shawn Young, and Kate Steele-Warren in there… it’s going to be brutal and there will probably be a few injuries coming out of it. But if I had to predict a winner… I gotta go with either Tyson Sykes or Mike Hawk.
(David snickers again and Star glares at him.)
Josiah Cena: honestly. I agree with Star. My money is on either Sykes or Hawk. They have the momentum right now. Although I wouldn’t be shocked to see Young come out on top. It’s a shame, but the two I don’t have any faith in winning this match are the two you’d think would be favorites. That being Lachlan Kane and Miles Kasey. Neither one of them have shown the drive to me as of late it would take to win a match like this, and I personally think they are just going through the motions of being a pro wrestler. Which will only get you so far. I hope at least one of them can prove me wrong tonight, but sadly...not putting much hope into that.
David Shane: Damn, man. That’s kinda harsh. But, I see your point. I think I gotta put money on big ole Mike Hawk…
(He snickers as he tosses in a $20)
David Shane: But in all seriousness, the guy has been on a roll. You can’t deny that he is climbing the ladder FAST. He even has had the likes of Levi Russow call it out on Twitter that he is a fan. You can’t hope for much more than that these days. While me and Levi don’t get along, I respect his opinion and he has always had an eye for talent. Mike Hawk will go all the way…
(Star glares at him as he just takes a wad of bills out and shoves em in the jar)
David Shane: Just covering my bases.
(He grinned widely at Star, who just shook her head.)
Tayna Reihl: Well, seems everyone is in agreement that Hawk is a clear favorite to win out there tonight. Next up we are about to discuss…
(Before Tayna could say anything else, the sweet, innocent voice of Candy is heard coming closer.)
Candy: Don’t start without me!!! I’m the host!
(Heels click clacking on the floor is heard as Candy comes running into the scene, dressed in the dress she wore to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.)
Candy: Sorry I’m late… hey… where’s my podium?
Star Stormz: What?
Candy: Hall of Fame! I’m hosting it and I can’t find my podium.
David Shane: Candy… that was the other day… it already happened.
Candy: What? Did I miss it?
Josiah Cena: How can you forget hosting an entire show?
(She squinted her eyes and thought reaaaaaaaally hard then smiled.)
Candy: OH!!! SILLY ME!!! BYE GUYS!!!
(She then ran off in the other direction, leaving the 4 of them sitting there confused)
Tayna Reihl: She’s a sweet girl…
Star Stormz: Yeah let’s just leave it at that and move on…
Tayna Reihl: Sounds good to me. Because now it is time to discuss the final match for the evening… the World Title Match between Sierra Williams and Gracie Lopez… Let’s take a look at what lead to this match.
(The video package plays, showing everything happened leading up to Destiny, before going back to the panel.)
Tayna Reihl: It has been a long path leading to this match, what do you guys think?
David Shane: I’m just going to come out of the gate here and say I am not going to predict a winner, or root for either side in this match. Last time I stated publicly my backing for a World Title match, I was practically pushed right out of my own company, accused of being biased, and all sorts of crap. So I’m not even going to go there. But what I am going to say is that is going to be a rough match, and whoever does walk out as the winner truly deserves it. I know how hard Gracie has trained for this spot, and I have also seen how hard Sierra has worked to get where she is. I respect both paths, and I am just looking forward to an amazing Main Event for Destiny. And that is all I am going to say on this one…
Josiah Cena: Very well said. I have to say it’s hard to bet against our champ. Sierra fought like hell to get where she’s at, and I don’t think she’s quite ready to give all that up just yet. I think Gracie is gonna bring the fight, but I think Sierra will be too much in the end.
Star Stormz: While you both have valid points, I gotta say I’m leaning towards Gracie. I’ve seen this woman grow from when she was a child… she is a third generation superstar… this business… that title… is in her blood. It’s her birthright. I’ve always seen just how much talent she has, and she has the drive of a Lopez. You can’t bet against that. Sierra is amazing in the ring, and I am so proud to see how she dethroned Mack McKane to win that belt. I just gotta go with Gracie Lopez for the win.
Tayna Reihl: This is another of those matches that could go either way, and I would be perfectly ok seeing either person win. Sierra has worked hard to get that title, and as you said beating Mack McKane - who went over a year undefeated - is no small task! She did what no one else could do, so Gracie sure has a fight ahead of her. And on that note… I am being told that we are out of time. Don’t miss Destiny… starting shortly!
(The 4 at the panel wave to the cameras as they cut to black.)
