(The scene opens up with Alexis and her fiance/manager James Younger pulling up to the arena. James was driving and pulled into a parking spot near the doors. He turns off the car and turns to Alexis. She was seated in the passenger seat, her face seemed void of emotion. She didn't look happy, or sad... angry, or anything. She just kept her focus looking out the front window. James tilted his head a little, showing sympathy.)
James: Are you sure you don't want to go in with me? Maybe it would help get you out of this funk?
(She blinked once or twice and then slowly looked over at him.)
Alexis: I'm fine.
(She turned back to looking out the window. James let out an audible sigh.)
James: Well, I shouldn't be long. Just picking up some paperwork from David's office and I'll be right back. Should be about 10 minutes... tops.
Alexis: Fine.
(He shook his head a little and leaned over kissing her on the cheek. He then exited the car and headed in the arena. Making his way through the halls, he found David's office and knocked on the door but there was no answer.)
James: David? Are you here?
(He knocked again, still no answer. The door to the office next door opened and Alfonso Banks peeked out the door.)
Alf: Mr. Younger? Is there something I can help you with?
James: I needed to pick up some paperwork from David for Alexis... but he doesn't seem to be in his office.
Alf: No, he left to get lunch for Star, myself, and himself since we are all working overtime right now making sure everything is perfect for Destiny.
James: Oh... should he be back soon?
Alf: No clue. He only left about 5 minutes ago, so it depends on how busy it is.
James: Damn. I really needed to get this taken care of, kind of time sensitive. He said it was on his desk... could I maybe just go in and get it?
Alf: I have a set a keys, we can get this taken care of.
(Alf disappeared for a minute into his office, then came out with a set of keys. He unlocked the door and they walked in, and turned on the light.)
Alf: He probably has it right on his desk, let me take a look.
(He started towards the desk then decided to make small talk to keep things from feeling awkward.)
Alf: So... I notice that Alexis isn't with you. She at the gym preparing for Destiny?
James: No, actually. She's in the car. She didn't want to come in. I think she is worried she will come across Dan, Mike, or Jenn... and that she will lose her temper. And she doesn't want to risk anything this close to Destiny.
Alf: That makes sense. Jenn was pretty harsh to her last week. I mean, she made valid points and has every right to feel the way she does. Dan and Alexis have been dominating the spotlight for this match from the start. But she really didn't have to go off on Alexis the way she did. Alexis must be pretty pissed off.
James: You have no idea. You know how there are two types of angry people? There's the explosive, which is what she usually is. You make her mad she is going to lash out, attack, flip out... you name it. But she explodes, gets the anger out, and then is fine...
Alf: Seen it first hand a few times, kind of scary when she is seeing red that bad.
James: Yeah that's not her this time. She's been more implosively angry. Holding it all in. She's barely eating, maybe one meal a day, and that's when I make her eat. She is spending alot of time solo at the gym, as she doesn't have her typical work out partners at her side. Alot of time listening to music with her headphones in... She isn't talking to anyone... even me.
Alf: Wow. That's unusual for Alexis. Where did he put that?
(Alf is rummaging through the random piles of papers on David's desk, looking for the papers James was there to pick up)
James: Yes, it is rather scary. You know she is a very vocal person. She speaks her mind. Not this time. She's crushed by the way Jenn treated her. She has basically lost her sister, her best friend, and she doesn't know how to handle it. And she is doing everything she can do not to lash out and hurt anyone. But I'm really worried.
Alf: For her safety?
James: Hers and everyone around her. I'm usually her sounding board, the one she can rant and vent everything to. But she is keeping this all bottled up and I fear she is going to explode at Destiny... or worse... this week on Riot against David Shane.
Alf: Yes, I warned David that booking himself against her at this time was not a good idea. He did not listen to me, and kept saying that he wants to face her at this point in time, something about how he'd have it no other way... something about how he likes to see that anger and rage in the ring and it brings an extra challenge. I just think he's crazy and has a death wish.
James: Agreed. And to add the stipulation that if she doesn't show up she is removed from the Destiny match?
Alf: I think that was just his way to ensure she showed up. He knows her, and he knows her well. He knows that with how she is right now, she would not show up any other way.
James: And that may have been for the best. I know after she walked out of the show she told me she wasn't going to show up this week... until David booked the match. I really am worried she is going to reach that boiling point where nothing can calm her down. And that's a bad thing.
Alf: Oh believe me, I've seen the bills for some of those fits of rage. Not pretty.
James: It's really not. She is at a point where she could explode at any point in time. And when she does... it's going to be bad. I just really hope it isn't against David this week. And I swear if anyone says he is playing favorites with her, just booking this match proves otherwise!
Alf: That's one way to see it. I told him he should probably give her the week off, let her process everything that happened. I have known her many years, and while, yes, I agree that she and Dan have been hogging the spotlight... they are also dismissing Mike and Jenn... I've seen both of them in the ring. They are not to be dismissed.
James: See, that is where we differ, old friend. Alexis and Dan have larger than life personalities. It's just who they are. They are more likely to be in the spotlight for that very reason. They aren't outspoken, and when they have something on their mind they just speak it no matter what. They are demanding that spotlight. All Jenn and Mike have to do is demand their share of it. But instead they sit in the back, twiddling their thumbs, waiting for some one to hand them their share of the spotlight. And it doesn't work that way. You want something... you make them notice you. That's what Alexis has done her entire career. That's how she became a household name for any wrestling fan. And I'll be damned if I let Jenn take that away from her. I've known Jenn and Alexis most of our lives. Even as kids it was obvious that Lexi was the loud one and Jenn was the quiet one. Lexi always looked out for Jenn, and Jenn was always the quiet one in the background. That's just how they always were. But I could always sense that there was a part of Jenn that was always jealous of Alexis. I feared one day that would rear it's ugly little head. I'm just glad I am here to try and keep Lexi level.
Alf: Good luck with that. AH HA! Found the papers!
(Alf grabs a small manilla folder with some papers in it and hands it to James. James looks at em quickly and nods.)
James: Perfect. Thank you, Alf.
Alf: Anytime. Good luck with Alexis...
James: Thanks... I am going to need it.
(The two men shook hands before James left the office and got back in the car. He looked over and saw Alexis sitting there, buried in her phone, with her headphones in. He didn't even try to interrupt her, just let her go on and process everything, as the scene faded to black.)

(The scene opens inside of Alf’s office as he sits on his computer working on something, he hears a knock on the door. Looking up he sees David Shane walking into the office.)
Alf: Whats up, David?
David: Did James and Lexi come by while I was gone? I’m missing a file that was on my desk.
Alf: Yeah, but only James came in...he said Alexis is in a very bad place...he said she’s imploding…
David: I saw that last week after the show...she walked past James and Maria after Jenn attacked her...Why do you think I’m forcing her to the show this week…
Alf: to be Frank, David, Your out of your mind wanting to compete with her right now...She is bound to snap any minute...whether it's on you, Jenn or anyone that crosses her path backstage.
(David walks over taking a seat across from Alf.)
David: I am not giving her the chance to snap, Alf...We will be opening the show.
Alf: so then she snaps on you...and injures you.
David: I have sparred and trained with Alexis for years now, Alf. I know what to expect from her and how to piss her off and get her to snap. For the sake of our main event at Destiny...We need her to snap.
Alf: That’s both insane and genius…
(David smiles slightly.)
David: Imagine for a second that I suddenly told you that everything you’ve ever done for me and my family meant nothing to me and that you’ve never had the interest of my family in mind and you were only out for yourself…
Alf: that would be absurd...I love your kids like my own…
David: That is how Alexis feels at the moment.
Alf: I understand, why your went through with it now..but do you think it’ll work? We’ve never seen her like this…
David: It will work...I’m stubborn enough to make it work…
(David stood up from his seat, and walked to the door.)
David: Oh, I need the finalized plans for Destiny by the end of the show this week. Have a good night, Alf…
(David leaves the office, shutting the door behind him. Alf is looking at the door before he goes back to work.)
